Shamrock Shimmer - St.Patrick's Day EOTD

Doesn't anyone else just love Friday's?! This weekend I am going to Busch Gardens Food & Wine again, but I plan on only hitting up the George Thorogood and The Destroyers concert! I'm upset that I missed the Huey Lewis & The News concert, but we had the kids and they were ready to leave at 4pm. Oh well! I'll live :P

For St.Patrick's Day, I decided to do a nice makeup look that is actually pretty dang wearable! I used mostly green shadows and really there was supposed to be a a nice pop of yellow on the inner 1/3rd of the eye, but the shadow apparently is not the actual color it is in the packaging. Such a bummer and I don't have a back-up yellow. Dang nabbit!

I'm pretty pleased with how the entire eye look came out. As per usual, I didn't actually wear any foundation or anything on my skin. I have no idea what is going on with it, but it's all splotchy, and I just don't want to be putting anything on it. Thankfully you can't really tell in this picture!

Thanksgiving Day Makeup

Hello hello!

I hope that you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving if you are in the US! Mine was ....well lets just say it went from uneventful and stressful to a party! I'm slowly trying to get back into the groove of things really. I do have a list of posts to get out, especially I have a few set up for January so yay! I'm pretty excited for 2016!

I thought that this was a nice look for Thanksgiving it wasn't too out there and it combined my love of neutrals with my love of color. You can't go wrong there! Also, I must mention, the lip gloss that I wore in the post, I ACTUALLY wore out. So yeah, we are slowly getting somewhere with me wearing lip colors! *high five* Heck, I might even wear a red out for my birthday ! :O

Silver Smokey Eye Look with Hard Candy

I'm gonna start this off by saying that I have nothing to disclose at all. Everything was bought by me with my own money.

I've been pretty lax on uploading makeup posts lately and I really have no reason, why. I've been putting them on Instagram really, if I even do that. I've probably got 5 eye looks on my phone that I never uploaded and I've wanted to upload but I never took my Canon out to take pictures of them. Shame on me right? You can slap my hand later.

I've been wanting to do an all drugstore makeup look for a while now and a lot of the time, I do, do that with the exception of my primer. I've yet to find an eye shadow primer that is drugstore that works like the UDPP or TFSI. So, if you know of one, let me know. Thanks!

I bought this particular palette from Hard Candy, literally for one shadow. It was when Marsala was the craze at the beginning of the year and I went crazy buying palettes with a shade that was marsala or close enough to it...I've yet to actually really use the palettes so I went ahead and snagged this one because I knew it was CF and had a lot of shadows in it where I could pick.

So, out of all of the colors that are in it, why did I chose silver and grey? I did it to kind of match the SquareHue polishes from November 2015's box. Which is why this is going up after that post. See what I did there? :D Baaha. Okay, I'm sure you all are tired of looking at me typing, so I shall just get the pictures going and let you know everything that was used!

This is literally your basic of basic "smoky eye" that you can do really with a silver and a dark grey. This is kind of what the look was when I was in color guard, well not look it was the required makeup that we had to wear back when I knew NOTHING about makeup and now I regret not knowing because I could have rocked it.

For my face I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in 201 Classic Beige
I also used the NYX Eyebrow Gel in Blonde for my brows.

That is it! I didn't so insane with the makeup or foundation like usual. Which, was nice..I do wish I would have set the foundation though because holy. bloody. heck. This settles into EVERY BLOODY LINE and just everything and it liked to stick and separate. It's just....a mess on my skin really so I am not a huge fan of this foundation. It's too thick in my opinion anyways. But it does serve it's purposes for pictures though I guess. :)

I hope that you all liked this look! I actually had a lot of fun creating it and remembering how I had no idea what my Color Guard Instructor was talking about when she said smoky eye and winged liner! Oh how far I have come!

If you can't tell I have been absolutely obsessed with BFTE's Pumpkin EVERYTHING! collection. Unfortunately you can't purchase it anymore because it was a LE collection. The colors for me just embody everything that has to do with Fall. I'm going to stop gushing and leave it all for the review!

The Beauty Buffs : Yellow Saran Wrap Manicure

Hello everyone and welcome too another addition of ::

This weeks theme is none other than yellow. I was actually pretty excited about this one! Unfortunately you can tell that I kind threw it together at the last minute.These extra hours at work have been messing with my blogging mojo-jojo! (if you get the reference, you're amazing) Of course though, since it was last minute, I'm unsure of how it looks!

This was my first time doing a saran wrap mani, which is why I'm so unsure! At first I was going to do all yellow, but after I painted my nails, they just looked...less than appealing.. Not only that but I was trying a new brand.. well it's now a new brand, just the first time I tried them. After 20 minutes the polish wasn't dry so I just scrapped the entire thing!

So, here it is! In all of its excitement I guess! I'm so jealous of other people's saran wrap manicures. They always turn out looking beautiful! Mine is just meh. Murphey's Law!:P

For my Base I used L'Oreal The Queens Ambition and overtop I used Cult Nails You're My Dandy Lion

I love that you can see the glitter through the yellow, I feel that it gives the manicure that little extra something.

And just because here is my thumb. I was originally going too do a gradient, but it just didn't work out. The sponge kept lifting the black and messing with the entire look, can you tell I also fail at doing gradients?! :P I mean you can't see it here, because I pretty much sponged it off, but I love how you can see the yellow in the glitter as well as in other places.

So, will you be trying out yellow anything this summer?! Bright colors, including yellow are very in right now!

The @#$%! Blackout!

Hey everyone!

I hope you are doing well! I caught another cold, so I'm just like eeeeeh :P. A runny nose is NOT attractive.

There really was no rhyme or reason to this eye look, I like doing red/black eyeshadow looks a lot actually, more than I let on. They're funky and fun. I used a butt load of products (more than normal I guess) to achieve the entire face look. (lol)

Now don't go saying "Autumn, it's not blended correctly!" Well, ms or mr thang. That was the point. I didn't want the inner corner fully blended because of that little webbing type dealio. Normally I do blend it straight into that, but not this time. I wasn't wanting to blend it that far this time. Judge if you must.

Also, fun fact. Nothing gets under your skin and puts a fire under your butt like someone telling you that you and your blog aren't good enough. All I have to say is *sticks tongue out* Normally that would upset me and make me doubt everything but you know what. >D Not this time. I wanted to play around with some red eye shadows, since I've not done it in a while.

I have a giant nose :P I need to learn to contour it. :P Bahah. I love my nose though :)

I blended Lumi up into the crease as well as into the red. I think that Lumi mixed with the brown makes a gorgeous color. Seriously. Much love for the way the inner crease looks. 

 I think that the next time I do this, I'm going to use the shadows wet to make them pop a little bit more and maybe I'll add some false lashes. :D I'd also use a liquid liner maybe because this cream liner, as you can tell was a bit off kilter and funky looking and not in a good way. That's like though. You'd only notice it if you get all up in my grill though, so I wasn't too worried about it. I also would probably use a mascara that didn't flake. I'm kinda miffed because it didn't flake before on me. I think it's getting old. Time to bust out a new one.

Hello Loves!

So, I don't have an excuse for being lax on the blogosphere. Chris and I worked almost the entire week trying to get the new house ready. Not going to lie, it was pretty damn strenuous on my muscles and body. I'm not used to doing that much work, or that hard of work anymore. Needless to say for the past 2 days I've not left the couch. It's a good burn but ugh it hurts to move :P. It also took my want to really do anything blog-wise. Terrible but I was so exhausted! So now I am here, noming on some french fries (don't judge) and just all around going to type up a few posts. :) I hope they don't disappoint! :P

When you are feeling drab what is the first thing you do to make yourself feel better?

Me? I take a shower then do some eye makeup! What is better than that!

I know most people take a day for themselves, do a face mask, etc. But not for me. Maybe later in the day I will manage to actually do a FULL manicure, but who knows! :P

Today is one of those days in Florida where it's kind of dank and rainy out, I'm not going to lie, it's kind of one of my favorite kinds of days. I'm not much of a heat/sunshine kind of girl. *shields self* I think I turned into that kind girl when I found out all of my allergies, so I kind of just stay inside to not deal with the allergy issues, which doesn't help lol. I need to get a crap load of allergy medicine. Hah!

Today's FOTD wasn't really inspired by anything Chris and my Brother want to go bowling today and I didn't want to wear anything too crazy because it's going to get hot in the bowling alley. Don't want to sweat away some boss eye makeup LOL. Really though, I opted for a neutral eye today.

This is definitely NOT the shirt that I plan on wearing, I kind of forgot to change it before I decided to oomph my hair up and do my makeup lol. Figures I would be the "genius" to do that :P

Hello Beautiful!


Today was just one of those days honestly. It basically consisted of a LOT of sleep, trying to get all of the Benadryl out of my system. My face also is a little rashy looking, which is just meh. I'm not enthused, but I'm not worried, I guess I need to do another oatmeal face mask! If you want to see what it consists of (3 things for real) and what not and how to make it let me know! It really helped last night!

Anypoodles, I was just playing with some stuff today, I did kind of my "every day" eye but I used different products. =^_^=  I also am going to add to pictures, they go with the FOTD but they also have a story behind them. Lol.
