FOTD 17

I don't have a fancy name for this one. This post was supposed to go up 3 days ago. I blame moving... 
Today I am having one of those nights though. My Naked 2 palette fell a little bit ago and my Blackout shadow SHATTERED beyond repair and a few others came loose. So depressing! I Lurved Blackout too! :( Ugh. I am grateful that I didn't lose more, but seriously! Why tonight, I was already having an iffy night. Ugh.. Onto the post though!

Since Chris and I are moving, all of my makeup is at my parents house and I only have my Naked palettes and a few other shadows. As you can tell, I didn't go crazy.

FOTD 16 Bold Eye Liner!

I hope you all are doing well!
This is the eye look that I wore yesterday (May 17th). I wanted to do something simple, but use a "bold" eyeliner.

I'm a little frazzled on how this turned out. One moment everything was okay and the next minute there was bumps, lumps and smudges! Seriously. it's my luck! When I started taking pictures everything looked good, then by the end of it, it went downhill. Pft.

It's all good though. it's not crazy noticeable unless you are in my face.

Blurry, but you kind of get the point of the look right?

I wanted the blue eyeliner to be the main focus of my eyes, I didn't make it crazy because it's pretty bold itself. I've had this eyeliner a long time but never tried it because I was too afraid it would compete with my blue eyes, but I quite like it! :D Whoopie!

Creep (outer corner/crease) 

A mixture of Buck, Smog, Darkhorse & Hustle smudged along the bottom lash line.

Myface Cosmetics SLINKY Metal Liquid Liner - Bell bottom Blues

Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner - Radium (tightliner)

I used the Maybelline Shine Free Pressed Powder in Soft Cameo and dusted it all over my face. 

I'm testing this but so far am not impressed.

Have you tried a bold eyeliner before?!

Today's look was a relatively quick one! All I was doing today was bathing the dogs, cleaning the bathroom, and doing a few other bits and bobs outside.

As you can tell this was a pretty neutral eye look, I didn't want anything too crazy or bright.

Hello Loves!

So, I don't have an excuse for being lax on the blogosphere. Chris and I worked almost the entire week trying to get the new house ready. Not going to lie, it was pretty damn strenuous on my muscles and body. I'm not used to doing that much work, or that hard of work anymore. Needless to say for the past 2 days I've not left the couch. It's a good burn but ugh it hurts to move :P. It also took my want to really do anything blog-wise. Terrible but I was so exhausted! So now I am here, noming on some french fries (don't judge) and just all around going to type up a few posts. :) I hope they don't disappoint! :P

When you are feeling drab what is the first thing you do to make yourself feel better?

Me? I take a shower then do some eye makeup! What is better than that!

I know most people take a day for themselves, do a face mask, etc. But not for me. Maybe later in the day I will manage to actually do a FULL manicure, but who knows! :P

I FINALLY got some down time before we head over to the house to start cleaning it again. It's going really well and I'm actually really enjoying it! :D

That's it! :) I didn't use any liner or anything in the second look. I wanted something super simple.

Adios Amigos! I hope you all are doing well! :) I'm happy to say, even though my muscles hurt, it's a good hurt, I'm finally off my plateau and losing weight! Squee! :D So excited and happy!

FOTD #9

Hello Beautiful!


Today was just one of those days honestly. It basically consisted of a LOT of sleep, trying to get all of the Benadryl out of my system. My face also is a little rashy looking, which is just meh. I'm not enthused, but I'm not worried, I guess I need to do another oatmeal face mask! If you want to see what it consists of (3 things for real) and what not and how to make it let me know! It really helped last night!

Anypoodles, I was just playing with some stuff today, I did kind of my "every day" eye but I used different products. =^_^=  I also am going to add to pictures, they go with the FOTD but they also have a story behind them. Lol.

In my post earlier I said that I was going to update that FOTD because I hated it. Hated is an understatement, after I put up the blog post it came right off!

For this version, I changed only one thing. I changed what I used for the pink and that is it! I definitely like how this one came out a lot more than the previous one.

FOTD #4 & Update

Hello!

Todays FOTD honestly took me FOREVER to photograph and to bloody get done. Looking at the pictures, you can't even tell that I have a crease color on. Bloody hell. I probably could have blended out the outer edges a bit more (again) but I had to clean up the mascara bits from it (which wound up transferring again anyways), plus with my eyes being the way that they are, you can't really see that the edges aren't really blended out. So that is a plus. PLUS I wan't really trying to impress anyone, I was going to the mall with my Sister, Niece and Nephew.

I didn't really have any inspiration for today's FOTD except Chris' favorite colors. That's just about it honestly.

Sorry about the whole mascara flakes above my eye, I didn't even notice them when I bloody took the pictures. Oh well! Tis life!!!

100 FOTD Challenge! #1

Hello everyone!

In 2011 I saw Sirvinya do this challenge and I wanted to do it then, but just wound up deciding against it. She finished her 100 days in September 2012 after starting them October 2011.
The name of the game is to do 100 Face Of The Day's in 1 year.
The rules are you have to use everything from your makeup stash at least ONCE. No wearing your same look EVERYDAY and counting it as a FOTD. My makeup stash isn't as big as it used to be, but I've been in such a rut and only ever use my Naked Palettes anymore, so I am taking on this challenge. I want to give everything in my stash a fair chance, and secretly I miss using fun colors! I just can't bring myself to switching it up!
