Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner

I have no joke been putting off buying this eyeliner because of how pricey it is. In total I payed $21.40 for this eyeliner at Sephora...In my defence though I was buying it as a birthday present too myself, so I kind of am justifying the price for that reason. Plus, the last time I .... wait scratch that, just kidding. That will be another post. Ha!

The Beauty Buffs - Radiant Orchid Eye Look

Hello my loves!

I hope your week is going swimmingly! I welcome you all back to another installment of The Beauty Buffs!! I hope you all are LOVING these as much as I am loving doing them for you all! The prompts each post have really kept challenging me and it's re-awakening my love of blogging! I've got a lot of lovely stuff planned in the upcoming weeks! But all of that aside, let's get crack-a-lackin'!

I created this look, oh goodness a month ago?! It was the first time I used the Wet n Wild Flirting At The After Party palette that I had gotten from my Hobby Polish Bloggers Swap buddy. To be honest, I wasn't sure WHEN I was going to upload this, but I figured this would be the perfect time to use it!
Products Used;;
Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer
Wet n Wild Flirting At The After Party palette
Milani Extreme Eye Tech Liquid Liner
That's it. I didn't wear mascara or foundation. I've found that I haven't been wearing mascara as of late... Call me lazy :P I can't even remember which shadows I used out of the palette, I thought I wrote them down, but I can't find the paper! boo on me.

I LOVE this eye look and I definitely need to try and recreate it! :D

Don't forget to check out the other ladies posts! I'm so excited to

Russian Rouge Eye

Nothing To Disclose
Hello everyone!! :D

Fun fact I started blogging January 19, 2011 NOT January 16, 2012. I switched over to this blog in 2012, I didn't really "break into the scene" though until 2012 :P

Also, fun fact. Nothing gets under your skin and puts a fire under your butt like someone telling you that you and your blog aren't good enough. All I have to say is *sticks tongue out* Normally that would upset me and make me doubt everything but you know what. >D Not this time. NOT this time. *snaps* Let's get onto the sassy-ness of this post.

I wanted to play around with some red eye shadows, since I've not done it in a while.

I have a giant nose :P I need to learn to contour it. :P Bahah. I love my nose though :)

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion (original)
L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow - 891 Continuous Cocoa (outer corner/crease)
Urban Decay - Gash (outer 1/3 of eye)
SauceBox Cosmetics - Russian Rouge (lid)
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter (inner corner)
Sugarpill Loose Eye shadow - Lumi (inner corner)
L'Oreal Power Volume 24H Black Smoke mascara
Mica Beauty Cosmetics eyeliner - Black
Urban Decay 24/7 eye liner in Perversion (tightliner)

I blended Lumi up into the crease as well as into the red. I think that Lumi mixed with the brown makes a gorgeous color. Seriously. Much love for the way the inner crease looks.

I think that the next time I do this, I'm going to use the shadows wet to make them pop a little bit more and maybe I'll add some false lashes. :D I'd also use a liquid liner maybe because this cream liner, as you can tell was a bit off kilter and funky looking and not in a good way. That's like though. You'd only notice it if you get all up in my grill though, so I wasn't too worried about it. I also would probably use a mascara that didn't flake. I'm kinda miffed because it didn't flake before on me. I think it's getting old. Time to bust out a new one.

I look like a deer caught in headlights

I do love this look. I used to wear it quite a bit. What do you think of it?!

FOTD 16 Bold Eye Liner!

Hullu!

I hope you all are doing well!
This is the eye look that I wore yesterday (May 17th). I wanted to do something simple, but use a "bold" eyeliner.

I'm a little frazzled on how this turned out. One moment everything was okay and the next minute there was bumps, lumps and smudges! Seriously. it's my luck! When I started taking pictures everything looked good, then by the end of it, it went downhill. Pft.

It's all good though. it's not crazy noticeable unless you are in my face.

Blurry, but you kind of get the point of the look right?

I wanted the blue eyeliner to be the main focus of my eyes, I didn't make it crazy because it's pretty bold itself. I've had this eyeliner a long time but never tried it because I was too afraid it would compete with my blue eyes, but I quite like it! :D Whoopie!

EYES:
Milani Eye shadow Primer
Urban Decay Naked Palette:
Naked (lid)
Creep (outer corner/crease)
A mixture of Buck, Smog, Darkhorse & Hustle smudged along the bottom lash line.
Myface Cosmetics SLINKY Metal Liquid Liner - Bell bottom Blues
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner - Radium (tightliner)

I used the Maybelline Shine Free Pressed Powder in Soft Cameo and dusted it all over my face.
I'm testing this but so far am not impressed.

Have you tried a bold eyeliner before?!

FOTD #6 2.0!

Hello everyone!

In my post earlier I said that I was going to update that FOTD because I hated it. Hated is an understatement, after I put up the blog post it came right off!

For this version, I changed only one thing. I changed what I used for the pink and that is it! I definitely like how this one came out a lot more than the previous one.

Click to read to see which shadow I used!

FOTD #6 (1.0)

Hello everyone!

I'm calling this FOTD 1.0 because I really dislike how this turned out. I think I am going to try it again later, but with different eye shadows and hope it comes out looking better. So, don't be surprised if you see an updated one later!

FOTD #4 & Update

Hello!

Todays FOTD honestly took me FOREVER to photograph and to bloody get done. Looking at the pictures, you can't even tell that I have a crease color on. Bloody hell. I probably could have blended out the outer edges a bit more (again) but I had to clean up the mascara bits from it (which wound up transferring again anyways), plus with my eyes being the way that they are, you can't really see that the edges aren't really blended out. So that is a plus. PLUS I wan't really trying to impress anyone, I was going to the mall with my Sister, Niece and Nephew.

FOTD #2

Hey everyone!
I meant to put this up yesterday, but I was so exhausted when we got back that I passed out. D:

Chris decided he wanted to go bowling last night, last minute. So I threw together this look with the hopes that it came out nice.

Ipsy February 2013

Hello hello!

This months Ipsy bag was not that exciting to me honestly, I was most excited about one product. I know a lot of people went crazy over it, I just.. well I don't know, it was a bit of a miss for me. But at the same time, that's just my opinion!!

The one thing I was excited about was the Pop Beauty Smoky Lash Kapow!!!
Like I said in my YouTube video about it, I'm a mascara junkie. I have a small stash of mascara.. well it's small now. I don't like being without mascara so I always tend to buy a bunch when I have the extra money and they are on sale! I'm excited to use this! It's next on my list! :P

Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer
Lately I have to be really careful on what I put on my face, so I am not sure when I will get around to using this. I have a few other face primers that I want to use up first.

Lash Card
Am I the only one that thinks products like this are useless? Yes, it will be perfect for someone who is new into makeup or isn't that good at applying mascara, but myself personally, I feel that this is a waste of cardstock. Use a business card, it's free.

Coastal Scents Sample Trio in In The Spotlight
I REALLY want to try more from Coastal Scents. I've not really used their other quad that was sent a few months ago, but I think that the top left, bottom left and bottom right colors will be used a lot. At least for me. The yellow wont look so good on my skin tone in my opinion.

Mica Beauty Cosmetics Cream(or gel) Liner
I'm not quite sure if this is a gel or a cream liner. It looks like a cream liner to me, but there are no other stickers or labels on it besides the cap. I can tell you that it is in black. That's really all I can say about it.
This I plan on sending to CookieFarrer, she was supposed to get this months bag and was excited for this but Ipsy stiffed her out of a month that she payed for when she got the year subscription. I'm more of a liquid liner girl anyways :P

So that was the contents of this months bag!
Sorry about the horrid picture of the bag, it was like 12am when I took this, hence the light. I meant to retake the picture but it slipped my mind. For anyone else, did this bag remind you of the PVC/Latex body suits that they use for naughty stuff? I asked multiple people and they ALL said the same thing. Nuff said. I can't remember the actual name of the plastic that they used, but the outside is definitely going to be easy to clean.
When you open the bag its BAM red. Kind of like Christian Louboutins. The sleep black pump with that sexy red sole that every girl lusts over. 'nough said.

A new subscription service?! Wantable.co

Hello Beautiful!

I want to tell you about a new subscription service, Wantable.co .

Wantable.co is a premium subscription box. They do makeup AND jewelry boxes, which I think it really cool. You can choose one or the other. Subscribing is a bit on the expensive side, but when you see what you get in your boxes, it's worth it. It is $36 if you become a subscriber or it is $40 for one box. You may be thinking that is a lot (and I agree), but you get between $80-$100 worth of products in a box. 4-6 full sized items, is really cool, considering it's all going to be makeup, or jewelry if that is what you pick.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="368"] First open box[/caption]

When you go to subscribe, you take a quiz just like you do on every other box, but at the end, you get to choose between the products you DO want to receive and products you DON'T want to receive. I think that is really a good idea, because then the boxes become more customized to YOU instead of to a mass market. The categories you choose from are brows, mascara, eyeliner, nail polish, eye shadow, blush, highlighter, lip color. You get to pick your topics and I choose the first 5 because anyone who knows me, knows that I am really not into blush, highlighter, or lip colors. I am trying to get into them, but now is not the right time for it. :)

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="368"] Under the layer of tissue paper[/caption]

When the lovely people at Wantable.co offered me a box, I will not lie I just about piddled myself. I really couldn't believe it at first, so I was in a bit of shock, but then it sunk in. I was so giddy and I can't thank them enough for giving me the opportunity to try their service! My box was ordered on the 10th, shipped on the 11th and I received it on the 15th. That is the QUICKEST I have EVER received anything in the mail, so their shipping is absolutely extraordinary. They even send you an email when you receive your box, which is cool, just in case you aren't home when your mail comes or what not. It is shipped out via UPS then it gets delivered by USPS.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="368"] Under the perfume samples[/caption]

The way it is packaged is absolutely gorgeous as well. The box itself is a gorgeous deep purple (eggplant I would say) and the tissue paper on the inside is black. Under all of the products is that crinkles paper strips (I don't know what they are called) and those are also black. The entire package is wrapped to ensure nothing breaks. Needless to say, everything is packed with EXTREME care, so you receive your products in one piece. There are also two pieces of paper inside of the box. One that is basically a receipt and it has a list of the products that come in your box, the other side of the paper has a blurb about the box. The second page has small pictures of the products, their descriptions and a description on how they would apply the products. They even give you little tips. I really like that. All of the tips come from their beauty expert Teresa "T" Sammarco.

There are definitely a couple companies in this box that I have never heard of... actually I have only heard of two of the companies out of the 6 individual companies. I got products from MiA BelleZZa, Color Club, MyFace Cosmetics, Swagger, Cosmetics, Spadaro and Kai.

Spadaro and Kai are fragrance samples, I don't mind getting fragrance samples, if I like the fragrance, I will use it, if I don't, I will find someone who does, that way it doesn't go to waste. I did get THREE fragrance samples. Two from Spadaro and one from Kai. The two from Spadaro are Doux Amour and Sole Nero.

Doux Armour is described as Ylang Ylang, Casablanca Lily, and Moroccan Jasmine are wrapped in Patchouli, Rare Amber and Sandlewood, then laced with Vanilla to form a new expression of sensuality.

Sole Nero is describes as Italian Citrus notes. Grapefruit, Orange, Lemon and Lime - are imbued with Musk, Sandalwood and precious spices. Sole Nero envokes fond memories of loves ones near and far.

Out of the two, I can't describe which I like more. Haha.

Kai Perfume Oil is a blend of Gardenia wrapped in white exotics. Unfortunately I can't use this. Both my Mum and I are allergic to gardenias.

I got two nail polishes from Color Club (full sized) Perfect Mol-Ten and Lumin-ICEcent. Both of these polishes are a metallic foil finish, I've just been getting into foil finish, polishes. These two are absolutely gorgeous though! Mol-Ten is a gorgeous green and Lumin-ICEcent is a gorgeous light blue. These two colors are just.. bah! I love them! I honestly do, they are gorgeous colors for really any time of the year.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="368"] Lumin-ICEcent Left Mol-Ten right[/caption]

The next two products are from MiA BelleZZa. The first is a Eye shadow duo called Moca. The first shade is a metallic copper and a matte chocolate brown. Out of the two shadows, the matte color is the post pigmented in my opinion. You definitely need to build up the copper color to get it to look like it is in the pan. I would also suggest using a primer with these. Actually a primer is a must with these from what I found. You get a better color payoff. That is just using it dry though. From what I read on the paper, you can use these wet as well, so I will have to try that and let you know how it goes!

As for the second MiA BelleZZa product, I've not tried it yet. It is a creme liner in Marrone. It looks like it will be a gorgeous brown creme liner. (The paper says that this is smudgeproof, I will let you know when I use it!)

I got an eyeliner from MyFace Cosmetics. I heard about this company through BeautyArmy and I've loved their products so far. I've never seen this eyeliner before, but boy it is GORGEOUS! I got the Slinky liquid liner in Bell Bottom Blues. This is definitely a gorgeous eyeliner, I'm glad that it doesn't over power my blue eyes! It is a mix between saphire, midnight and electric blue. It's really gorgeous and I see myself getting a lot of use out of it. This liner does take a little bit to dry, not much, but you want to make sure you use this last that way you don't smudge it and have to fix half of your eye. (it happened to me)

The last product is from Swagger Cosmetics. It is a loose eye shadow. It is a deep red-purple shadow with gold undertones. This reminds me of the Volturi loose shadow in Dusk, but that is more purple based than the Swagger Cosmetics shadow. Oh! Looking on the invoice, this shadow is called Red Bone. It is not labeled on the pot itself, so I am going to have to do that soon so I remember the name. The pigmentation of this is fantastic, I see myself getting quite a lot of use out of this bad boy! :D

All in all, this was a FANTASTIC box. I really think that this company will go really far in the subscription box world. However, I do wish that it wasn't so pricey. I do understand why it is pricey. Giving full sized products in a box, wont come cheap on their end. So I do understand that. I just wish I could be able to afford a monthly subscription to this because it is such a lovely box! The people at Wantable.co are lovely as well. So friendly!

The retail value of my box this month was $85.20. That is a HUGE value for everything in the box.

Check them out on their Website - Twitter - Facebook

Have you tried/heard of this company before?! Let me know what you think!

Disclaimer: This box was sent to me for free from wantable.co for my honest review/opinion. I am not being compensated by this company to do this review, nor am I affiliated with them.

Eye Of The Day November 30th

Heya Loves!

No foolies but I meant to put this post up yesterday and it just did not happen. It was a very long day for me.. Crazzzy! :D 200 Christmas cards however are DOWN and out. Thankfully. Hand cramps! :P

I decided I wanted to do a dark-ish type of eye look. No idea why I decided that, but it just wound up happening. I busted out my L'Oreal Infallible 24/hr shadows and went on my way!

Ipsy (MyGlam) October 2012 bag!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hello everyone! It is that time of the month again! Bahah not THAT that time, but Ipsy (formerly MyGlam) time of the month!

Before I get into it I want to say thank you too to the Customer service ladies! If you have noticed, I have not done a blog about Ipsy for 2 months (not including this month) My mail man has literally been taking them and the post office has done jack, I had emailed them last month when my bag went missing, after it said that it was delivered and they changed my shipping address on their own when they sent last months bag out. Which I didn't get till the 5th of this month. lol. Anyhoo. I can't remember her name, but just thank you Ipsy ladies! :)

Anyways, onto this months bag!

In advance, I want to say sorry about the fuzzy pictures, I have no idea what is going on with my camera! I will get it sorted out before the next blog post! <3

I was really excited to get this months bag, but at the same time I was extremely nervous. This month is the first month they used their "customizing" thing that they established late last month. I was absolutely terrified to get one of the colors because I knew it wouldn't look good on me. Haha, I was really worried, but thankfully I got Gloss Bomb #9. (I should probably tell you the product huh? Bah)

The Mirenesse Lip Balm Glossy Lacquer Stain in #9 (full size)

Now, I have never heard of this company before, so I was pretty stoked to get a color that I could actually wear. Granted it is not something I would have picked for myself, but its a nice color. Its a pinkish nude with orange undertones. It doesn't look half bad on the lips, but make sure you don't have dry or cracked lips. When I first tried this, my lips were gross and chapped and it sunk right into the lines and cracks. Now its not super noticeable to anyone else, but if you are aware of it, you will notice it! So far, I am very pleased with this product! I can't wait to try it out longer. Oh, yes it is glossy, not overly glossy but a nice gloss and its not very sticky at all. For some people it may not be sticky, but for a girl who is used to only wearing lip balms, its a bit sticky but not off putting. I guess it would be like a regular gloss? This retails for $35.10 (holy cow!)

The next product is the Be a.... bombshell Onyx eyeliner (full size). This is a marker eyeliner with a nice tip on it. You can get a thin line or even make a thick line! I really like that already about it! No, I have not tried it as of yet, I have swatched it though and boy is it black! I am really excited to try this out because I am trying to find another good eyeliner that I can wear for the wedding. Bah. I've never heard of this company either, so I am really excited! This retails for $14.

Next up is the Color Couture Pequi Oil Treatment (.5 fl oz / 15 ml) I believe we got something from Color Couture in one of the other previous bags, but I can't honestly remember. I have heard of the company before, but have not looked into them. I know I heard about them through MyGlam (Ipsy) so. This oil treatment came at a good time because I just ran out of my Macadamia oil, the day this came. Bah. This retails for $12 for the .5 fl oz. I am not too fond of the way to get it out of the container, because it is a thick oil it takes a bit of time just to get a drop or two out. We shall see if this is better than my Macadamia treatment oil :)

The next set ( say set with a reason) is from Coastal Scents. It is their Eye Shadow Sample Set 3. I am glad that I got this set because then I can use it for the wedding on other people. :D That makes me a happy camper, I don't have to go out and purchase eyeshadows. This is my first Coastal Scents product, so I am excited to try it out! :) The colors I got were Maroon Berry, Flesh Tone, Caramel, & Light Bronze. I am not sure how much this retails for since it is a sample set. :)

The last product in the bag was a deluxe sized theBalm What's your type? The Body Builder Mascara. I've never used theBalm makeup before, I have their nail polish from one of the old bags, but have never used their cosmetics. I have not opened this because I don't like having a lot of mascaras open at once. So, I can't really tell you anything about this mascara. I don't have high hopes though. :P Not for any particular reason. I just don't want to get my hopes up about something that I wont be using for a while. :P

That is this months bag! Overall I am extremely happy with everything I have gotten. I am excited for the direction that Ipsy is going, even though I don't get the name change. In my opinion they are heading in the right direction bag wise. :)

Do you get an Ipsy bag? What color Lip Bomb and sample quad did you get? I am really excited to see what everyone got! <3

I hope you all are having a wonderful day! <3
