Husband Picks My Eyeshadow!?!

I had all of these blog posts planned and written out and I just knew it was going to be a good month! I was so ready to go! Unfortunately, nothing ever works out in my favor. My Mom is still having issues after her surgery, my Grandmother was back in the hospital with issues stemming from her colon cancer surgery and then I got a pretty disheartening email. It was a rejection email from a company and honestly, 99,9% of the time they don't bother me. This one however was pretty damn disheartening. I was told my blog wasn't good enough and I myself were too "heavy" to be accepted. I'm not naming names, but that is just something not nice to say at all. I was told to apply again in a couple of months and "maybe" I would be accepted then. Excuse me? I was just insulted and they still want me to apply again?! No thanks. >( So I've been feeling really crappy about not only myself but I have been feeling pretty shat about my blog. It's not a great feeling.

Currently however, I am being howled at by Simba the needy Sable Point Siamese Cat. He is a needy pain in my butt. Ginger is sitting at the table in front of me who is dubbed my Tuxedo Stalker and Anya is just Anya. We all know how she is. Cute but plotting your death. I love my cats though! I wouldn't trade their crazy butts for the world. 

Another side note. I went to Chipotle with my Cousin for the first time and I felt basic as hell and was not impressed. It was not that great, I have had better.

Neutral FOTD

Hey everyone.

I've totally dropped the ball on a lot of things in the past three months, especially blogging. It has been taking me 10x as long to get a blog post up as it normally does. I've not only dropped the ball on blogging, but just lief in general. The only reason I am sharing this is because I want to be as real as possible to you all. I've got nothing to hide nor would I try and hide anything. Things have just not been going well with me and it's been one thing after another. This month especially has not been going well and I more than likely just have to cancel everything that I was planning on doing, which is not going over well for me. Why is it not going well? It's something I've been looking forward too for a year. It's insane and honestly it's extremely depressing for me. Okay enough about my woes and sorrows. To kind of lighten the mood, I put on a movie I've never seen and I'm slightly creeped out because the woman just sensually touched a piece of chocolate. Weird much!? The movie is Requiem For A Dream. Never seen it but Jared Leto is a hottie. :P

FOTD 17

I don't have a fancy name for this one. This post was supposed to go up 3 days ago. I blame moving... 
Today I am having one of those nights though. My Naked 2 palette fell a little bit ago and my Blackout shadow SHATTERED beyond repair and a few others came loose. So depressing! I Lurved Blackout too! :( Ugh. I am grateful that I didn't lose more, but seriously! Why tonight, I was already having an iffy night. Ugh.. Onto the post though!

Since Chris and I are moving, all of my makeup is at my parents house and I only have my Naked palettes and a few other shadows. As you can tell, I didn't go crazy.

FOTD 16 Bold Eye Liner!

I hope you all are doing well!
This is the eye look that I wore yesterday (May 17th). I wanted to do something simple, but use a "bold" eyeliner.

I'm a little frazzled on how this turned out. One moment everything was okay and the next minute there was bumps, lumps and smudges! Seriously. it's my luck! When I started taking pictures everything looked good, then by the end of it, it went downhill. Pft.

It's all good though. it's not crazy noticeable unless you are in my face.

Blurry, but you kind of get the point of the look right?

I wanted the blue eyeliner to be the main focus of my eyes, I didn't make it crazy because it's pretty bold itself. I've had this eyeliner a long time but never tried it because I was too afraid it would compete with my blue eyes, but I quite like it! :D Whoopie!

I used the Maybelline Shine Free Pressed Powder in Soft Cameo and dusted it all over my face. 

I'm testing this but so far am not impressed.

Today's look was a relatively quick one! All I was doing today was bathing the dogs, cleaning the bathroom, and doing a few other bits and bobs outside.

As you can tell this was a pretty neutral eye look, I didn't want anything too crazy or bright.

Hello Loves!

So, I don't have an excuse for being lax on the blogosphere. Chris and I worked almost the entire week trying to get the new house ready. Not going to lie, it was pretty damn strenuous on my muscles and body. I'm not used to doing that much work, or that hard of work anymore. Needless to say for the past 2 days I've not left the couch. It's a good burn but ugh it hurts to move :P. It also took my want to really do anything blog-wise. Terrible but I was so exhausted! So now I am here, noming on some french fries (don't judge) and just all around going to type up a few posts. :) I hope they don't disappoint! :P

When you are feeling drab what is the first thing you do to make yourself feel better?

Me? I take a shower then do some eye makeup! What is better than that!

I know most people take a day for themselves, do a face mask, etc. But not for me. Maybe later in the day I will manage to actually do a FULL manicure, but who knows! :P

Hello Beautiful!


Today was just one of those days honestly. It basically consisted of a LOT of sleep, trying to get all of the Benadryl out of my system. My face also is a little rashy looking, which is just meh. I'm not enthused, but I'm not worried, I guess I need to do another oatmeal face mask! If you want to see what it consists of (3 things for real) and what not and how to make it let me know! It really helped last night!

Anypoodles, I was just playing with some stuff today, I did kind of my "every day" eye but I used different products. =^_^=  I also am going to add to pictures, they go with the FOTD but they also have a story behind them. Lol.

For this version, I changed only one thing. I changed what I used for the pink and that is it! I definitely like how this one came out a lot more than the previous one.

Eye Of The Day November 30th

Heya Loves!

No foolies but I meant to put this post up yesterday and it just did not happen. It was a very long day for me.. Crazzzy! :D 200 Christmas cards however are DOWN and out. Thankfully. Hand cramps! :P

I decided I wanted to do a dark-ish type of eye look. No idea why I decided that, but it just wound up happening. I busted out my L'Oreal Infallible 24/hr shadows and went on my way!

Eyes:

Urban Decay Primer Potion Original

Maybelline Color Tattoo - Pomegranate Punk (base color)

L'Oreal Infallible 24/hr eye shadow -

Perpetual Purple (all over lid)

Sultry Smoke (outer corner)

Continuous Cocoa (outer corner)

Physicians Formula Eye Brightener Hint of Topaz (Inner corner)

For eyeliner I used my L'Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense liner with the Felt tip.

In the first picture I didn't use any mascara BUT

Of course you can't go out without any mascara!

I use two different mascaras though.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes & Bare Minerals Flawless definition (both black)

I really liked how it turned out, but that is just me :) I am forcing myself out of my makeup rut where I've not been wearing anything. I actually miss it ! :O I do need to get a new eyeliner though, its about time to throw this one out! I've had it too long. Shame on me :P

Hello !!

This is the eye makeup that I did to take my brother to the doctors. Did I have to put eyeshadow on to take him? No, but I wanted too!

I'm trying to use my other palettes that have been long forgotten in my makeup drawer.  I always feel so bad when I am in a rut and constantly use the same stuff over and over, so I broke out of that. Muhahaha!

I used the Wet n Wild Bake Off Contest baked eye shadow palette. Unfortunately this was limited edition last year with their holiday stuff. So you can't find this in the stores anymore, but I am sure that you would be able to find it on eBay or Amazon!

These don't have names unfortunately.

I used the pink/grey swirled shadow that always comes out a grey/silver metallic shadow all over the lid.

I then used the matte black in the outer edge and in the crease.

I used the white, which is also an iridescent baby blue in the inner corner, but you can't really see it. :(

Lastly I used metallic dark blue as an eye liner. This blue is seriously so gorgeous!

Ugh, it kills me that I don't use it a lot... Because it stains. No one wants to be walking around with dark blue stained eye lids. Hahah.

All of the shadows with hearts on them are the ones I used!

For black eyeliner I used the L'Oreal Lineur Intense Carbon Black liquid liner and lined close to the lash line so you could still see the blue liner.
Oh! I almost forgot!! Lame.
I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
I also used my Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara.

Typically these days I only do my eyes. I don't feel the need to do a full face of makeup. Sometimes I will throw on my Rimmel Stay Matte powder or I typically use my Mario Badescu Special Healing Powder because it has a green tint and helps to cancel out what redness I do have these days.. It also helps with the break outs on my face...

Wow, that turned into something longer than I intended haha oh well! :P

How NOT to do your makeup and go out in public

Okay, there is a story behind this blog post. I went grocery shopping at Walmart Thurday with my Mom and I saw this woman who looked like she let a baby slap some makeup on to her face. I mean it was pretty grotesque. THEN I had to go back Friday because I forgot something and I saw her AGAIN!

Oh boy, I couldn't contain myself, I just had to try recreate her look. I wound up slapping her two looks together and came up with what I am about to show you.

I just want to warn you. It is kind of scary and horrid. I felt so bad putting all of this on! I had to use so many different products to try and get it right. I just want to warn you. I am not exaggerating what you are about to see. This woman actually went out in public like this. I don't know why anyone would do that.

I also want to warn you, that I blended it out more than I should have. It was kind of habit. Oy vey. I can't believe I am about to do this! Bahaha

Excuse the eye brows. I didn't have the stuff to cover them up and do them properly, but you get the point. And the lips. Yes, the "lip liner" (actually its eyeliner) was messed up as well, but thats how hers was. There is a mix of 2 different liquid lip sticks on my face. *shudders*

This is not a post to make fun of someone. Obviously its not because they are not pictures. My face is. I feel like.. just ugh. I had to fight to get through the lips I almost gave up twice.

Josh, you better know how much I love you for doing this! :P

So, what do you think? Should I wear this out? kidding!

Hey everyone! I know I said that I would not be really doing any blog posts until my thumbs heals. Well! Its doing okay, hurts if I move it the wrong way, but its healing pretty well!

I really wanted to do this blog post because I managed to get 100% dressed on MY OWN! Now, you may think its silly to get excited about that, but when you don't have a thumb to hook your bra or to zip your pants, being able to get 100% dressed and do BOTH of those things, you get excited.

Haha.

So I managed to do my makeup and even do my liquid liner. Crazy excited!

Im trying a new foundation, but its a secret which one it is. I will let you know very soon though! :)
