Worth Co Beauty - Review #MyWorthMovement

Products Provided For Free For Review

You know that moment when you buy coffee because it's going to be a long night and you have so much to do and you know you're not going to be able to get any sleep? So you pour yourself a nice 16-24 ounce cup of refreshing pumpkin spice iced coffee stuff that you can buy in the stores.... Then it dawns on you after you drink half of the drink that it's freaking ESPRESSO and NOT COFFEE. Guys, I think I can hear colors. IT. IS. SHINY.

Wow, Okay. That was a wee bit crazy, wasn't it?

First off before I even start reviewing anything I want to say that I just LOVE their brand message.
Celebrating The Worth of Every Woman One Product At A Time.
If you want to read their entire statement, you can check out their Statement of Worth page HERE

I know the a product can't be measured only by what the brands message is. I will say that once I read through their website I did have some pretty high expectations for their products. Worth Co. does lip care, bath and body, candles as well as tubes which is a lip butter as well as a lip scrub. Their products range from $9.50 to $30 for the tube.

They have a whole bunch of different scents and each one has it's own name.
100% Original - Sweet Almond + Honey + Oats
Forward - Mint + Berry
Brave - Peaches + Coconut
Soul Beautiful - Verbena + Vanilla
Every Day - Lemongrass + Ginger
One of A Kind - Rose + Citrus

Forward Body Whip - $21
At first, I wasn't sure what to think about this. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because I had products similar in the past that were extremely greasy feeling on the skin. Let me just say, this is lovely on the skin! It starts to instantly melt into the skin and it feels luscious.  I love that this is not greasy at all.

I have pretty dry elbows, to the point that they hurt and this is the only thing that I've found that will actually help my desert elbows. I've also used this on my dry feet and it helps quite a bit.
The one way that I love using this is right as I get out of the shower, before I dry off I will apply this all over my body and I let it soak in and oh my goodness! Baby soft skin! It's quite lovely.
Scent wise, I am so in love with this scent! I don't know what it is about this but it makes me very happy. It's just something about the mint and the berries that reminds me of happy times. I can't place exactly what it makes me think of, but it's such an amazing scent. Definitely a favorite!

100% Original Body Scrub - $22
Body scrubs are not something that I usually go for. I don't know why, but they're usually so abrasive on my skin that I tend to just avoid them. The brown sugar crystals and the jojoba beads that are in this are extremely gentle on the skin. It gets off all of the dead skin and it also moisturises your skin at the same time! It is a double whammy because of all of the yummy stuff that is in this.
This probably is the scent that I am attracted to the most. I don't know what it is about Sweet Almond Oil, or just almond oil in general but it is something that I love deeply. Slap this baby into a perfume and I will wear it for life!

100% Original Lip Scrub - $16
Lip scrubs are something that I'm typically not familiar with because I try and keep my lips from getting chapped. Luckily for me, this came at the perfect time because I had just gotten over being sick and my lips were awful. This is a sugar based scrub and the one thing that I greatly enjoy and appreciate with this scrub is that it has just enough abrasiveness to slosh off all of the dead skin on your lips, but it extremely gentle. It also is very moisturizing, so you don't really need to apply a heavy lip balm after using this.
The scent of this is different then the body scrub, even though they are from the same scent line. I really couldn't figure out the scent of this at first. I sat there just smelling this and trying to figure out what the heck the smell was. It's one of those familiar scents, but you just can't place it. Then it finally came to me! It's honey! You know...from the whole sweet almond, honey, oats dealio? I don't know why it didn't click at first! This doesn't smell like your run of the mill grocery store honey though, at least not to me. Years ago we were gifted this GIANT tub of natural honey that came from South America that had a huge piece of honey comb in it and it was thick, dark and luscious. THAT is exactly what it smells like.

All in all my expectations were greatly exceeded with all three products from Worth Co.! They are all luscious and amazing. I'm honestly really surprised with these, the last time I tried to use body care items they were just purely awful. These though have renewed my spirits in wanting to go back out and try more products! I definitely want to try out their Lip Rubs, because we all know how obsessed with lip balms that I am! Their candles are definitely worth checking out also!

Worth Co. is definitely a 10/10 company with their products and packaging. I mean, you can't get any cuter than that! Check out their website as well as all of their other links!

Naturally Fly Body Butters

Press Sample

I want to start this post off by first apologizing too Angela as well as everyone else for how long it's taken my to get this review up. Not only is it very unprofessional the amount of time it's taken, but it's very irresponsible of myself to have taken so long. Especially since I promised it would have been up FIVE days ago. Unfortunately life and sickness got in the way of me doing things that I enjoy (aka my blog), we can save that for another post though.

Without further adieu

Naturally Fly is new to me body care company. I heard about them from Brittany of Clumps of Mascara. All of Naturally Fly's body butters are 100% Nautral.

Up first we have Midnight Mango.
While there is actually nothing mango in this body butter, I must say that at first, it does smell really lovely. Now, for myself personally, it's extremely strong and the scent doesn't fade for quite a while. The last time I used this, my brother thought that I was burning something..like a candle, not actually burning something. The body butter itself is filled with all kinds of good oils that are just lovely for your skin, this is suggested that you wear this at night, so that it can fully soak into your skin.

I would suggest wearing some socks or long pants or something because I found that this can be a bit greasy. It takes a while to soak into the skin, I'm not using the word greasy lightly, because it's very very greasy. Even with it being greasy it is moisturizing, which is nice.
The picture above is not how the product actually looks. There is a warning on the packaging that says to store it in a coolr place...well, you might want to heed that warning. The product turned into that...I would show you a more updated picture, but it's not lovely and ...yeah it's just not. While the product still is useable, I do think that may be why I've found it to be very greasy and others haven't.

Honey Punch
Honey Punch is in a smaller jar then Midnight Mango. Honney Punch is an all natural moisturizer that says it fights acne while acting as a skin clarifier. I didn't put this on my face, like MM I found this greasy but noticably LESS greasy. I can wear this without having to put on socks or anything else. I'm not sure if this is meant for the face, but I do have oily skin, so I skipped putting this on my face. I've been using it on Chris' back, since he has some serious backne and it seems to be helping.
Scent wise, it kind of smells like that soap that you get from hotels. I'm no knocking the scent because it isn't that over powering. I quite like the scent of this, it kind of reminds me of being in Tennessee. As you can see this one fared better than MM. I'm not sure why this one fared better, but it's lovely!

I know it sounds that I'm bashing the problems, or hated the products themselves...Indeed I do quite enjoy them. I think I would have enjoyed Midnight Mango more if I had stored that properly, but that was totally user error.

If you would like to Purchased Midnight Mango, you can do so by clicking HERE
MMango retails for 14.99 for 2oz or 19.99 for 4oz

If you would like to purchase Honey Punch you can do so by clicking HERE

HP is currently on sale as of 10/7/14 I'm not sure how long the sale is going on for but 2oz retails for 9.99 and the 4oz jar is 14.99

Suave Homemade Almond Cookie Body Wash

Purchased myself

I stumbled upon the Suave Homemade Almond Cookie Body Wash when I was searching for a new body wash. It was between this one and another one and this one won between the two. This is a Limited Edition body wash that is a part of their seasonal line. Upon reading Nouveau Cheap's blog post about them, I realize that this particular scent is new to the Holiday Seasons line. Pretty neat.

I've not used Suave stuff in years, I think it's because it was what we could afford when I was younger and I just wanted to try new stuff. I honestly don't remember how much this was. I believe it was under $2 or $3 at Walmart. I've been using this body wash for a good month and you can tell that I've barely made a dent into it!

Now, I don't like eating almonds but I totally love the smell of almonds, weird right?! This unfortunately doesn't smell like almonds or almond cookies. :( To me all you can smell is the Vanilla in it, which doesn't bother me at all. I love the smell of vanilla, but am kind of bummed about it not smelling like almonds. I do really like that consistency of this though. It's more of a gel body wash instead of a runny liquid one. You get a really nice lather with this as well. I really like this body wash, when I say a little goes a long way, I really mean it in this situation.

You can purchase this anywhere that you can find Suave products. I purchased mine at Walmart for less than $3. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact price, but I do know it was under $3.

I hope you all are doing well! xx
