Square Hue Rovaniemi Collection

The Square Hue Rovaniemi Collection is the last installment of their Passport Collection that they've had going on throughout 2014. This also happens to be their holiday box as well as being based on Rovaniemi. Prior to this collection I had never heard of the city before, but a quick google search led me to everything I could want to know!

Rovaniemi is a city in Finland that is dubbed The Official Hometown of Santa Claus. How fitting that this be the name of their last collection. Touche Square Hue, touche.

Now, don't expect me to actually be able to pronounce any of the names of the polishes, nor the city itself. I don't know any Finnish and I would only butcher the names badly.
Joulupukin Pajakylä means Santa Claus Village and is a traditional deep red polish with red and purple micro glitter in it.
This polish is full coverage in two coats and the formula is absolutely perfect! This is a dream formula! Easy to work with, doesn't flood the cuticles. It's everything you want in a polish. I don't suggest mattifying this because it dulls the shimmer.
Revontuli means Fox Fire in Finish and I believe it's relating to the Norther Lights and is A dark green matte (or as they call it Satin) polish with gold micro shimmer.
This polish is a total one coater. HOWEVER it's extremely thick and I did have to thin it out quite a bit to get it to a point where it was manageable. You do have to work quickly with this because it does dry rather quickly. In the pictures I showed you what it looked like with two coats because I wanted the nails to look some-what even.  I do like this polish in it's natural state as well as shiny, you can see the gold more when it's top coated!
Sampokeskus is a Shopping Center located in Rovaniemi and is a yellow/gold textured polish.
I'm pleased to say that this isn't overly textured, in my opinion it's just the right amount of texture without being annoying or chunky. (I'm looking at those new Zoya's) This polish can be a 1 coater if you apply it thick, or if you apply thin coats (which I suggest doing) it's a two coater for sure. This is such a gorgeous polish and it's just as stunning with a top coat!

Overall I'm very pleased with this collection! With it being my first ever polishes from Square Hue, I will say that they are definitely worth the subscription prices! My only issue is that Revontuli should be thinner to make it easier to work with, but if you have nail polish thinner, you can thin it to however you'd like.  This collection is an absolute stunner none the less and is perfect for the holidays!

SquareHue is a nail polish subscription where you get sent THREE full sized (.5 FL OZ 15mL) polishes for $14.99

May Beauty Box 5

Hola!

I hope you're all doing well amazingly!!

For your reading enjoyment today, I have May's Beauty Box 5... Is that all supposed to be one thing? Like BeautyBox5? I've seen it both ways.  *shrugs* So, I've had this box for a few days. It's taken me this long to post about it because...well I don't know. Maybe because I'm not entirely impressed with it. The reason I chose to try out BB5 was because they were running a deal on their facebook where you got your first box free! I don't know if they're still running it though, all I can suggest is checking it out.

Should I just put my thoughts at the beginning or make you wait?! Maybe it's better to just get them out of the way!? My biggest "ish" with BB5 was that they said it takes 5-7 days FROM the day it's shipped to reach you. Now, they're located in Texas and I am in Florida. I've gotten products from Canada quicker than I have from BB5. It took about 18 days for my box to finally reach its destination. That's really my only gripe is that it took so long. It is what it is though.

Onto what actually CAME in the bag box. Can you tell I'm used to MyGlam Ipsy?

The Theme of this box was Fresh and Focused.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion | Retail; 8.49

H2O Plus Spa Hand and Nail Cream | Retail; $15.00

Ban Total Fresh Cooling Body Cloths | Retail; 2.97 - 10 clothes

Harvey Prince Hello Perfume Sample | $55.00

Cattiva Precisione Eye Liner | Retail; $20.00

In the end, the only real gems of this box is the H2O Plus Spa Hand and Nail Cream and the eye liner. I've not tried the eyeliner yet but I'm obsessed with the Hand and Nail Cream. It's amazing!!  I don't know when I'll use the Aveeno lotion, that may wind up going the same way as the Ban and Harvey Prince.

I gave my sister the Ban cooling body cloths because they freak me out. It's totally irrational but I don't want to wipe something on my body to cool me down, especially if it's going to leave a powdery look. I have enough issues with that, especially when I wear the gloves at work that have that powder on the inside then BAM it's on your shirt and people wonder is that's drugs or something else. I also gave the the perfume sample, she's typically the one who gets them if I don't like the smell of it, or it has something I'm allergic too in it. This time, I'm not sure. It smelled okay, but just in case I wanted to give it to her. Plus, she was excited and happy about both. So, I made her day which made mine. Win/Win

Overall, I rate this box as okay. I wasn't too impressed for it for a first box. I wasn't really impressed with what I saw for this year period when I looked into past boxes. I'm going to give it a go for another month, which I WILL be paying for and we will see how it goes!

Target Beauty Box

Hey everyone!
I hope that you all are doing well! I did a little update on my blog! I hope you all like it! :) Let me know what you think! The white became a bit too plain for me.

Target's only had 20,000 of these beauty boxes and the only reason I knew about it was from blogger buzz that was going around via, twitter and instagram. If it wouldn't have been for Nouveau Cheap, I never would have known about it! So many thanks to her! Now, this isn't Target's free beauty box, they stopped those late last year I believe, if not early this year. I can't remember. This box was $5 which was a FANTASTIC deal considering the contents! So, without anymore rambling on, let's just get into das contents!

The box came in a sleeve that was in an outer box to protect it while shipping.
So, this is what the sleeve looked like, definitely classic Target. The actual box itself was white, but I didn't want to bore you with small details.

My First Graze Box!

Good morning loves!
I hope you all have an amazing Wednesday!

On Monday I got my First Graze Box in the mail, I was not expecting it because I wound up cancelling the box, even though your first one is free. It had been two weeks and I didn't hear anything from them, so I figured I would just cancel it so I wouldn't get charged $5 for the next box.
When I first signed up the Grazebox was $5 WEEKLY but since then to the best of my knowledge they have installed a bi-weekly and monthly I believe.

The box is a pretty decent size and I decided on the Nibble Box so I got 4 different snacks.
As you can tell, the little containers are a pretty decent size. I decided to share these with people in my family.

The top left is the Herby Bread Basket. This was 18g or 0.63oz..which is was pretty full. However I didn't really get the "herby" aspect of it, all I got was garlic..and it was extremely strong..like you need to brush your teeth after or it ferments strong. (gross but you know what I mean)

The next one I split with Chris. It was the Natural Vanilla Seeds. It was Pumpkin and Sunflower seeds. We both love them and we definitely LOVED this container.
This one was pretty full as well. It weighed 31.5g or 1.1oz. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but it was.The seeds basically have a vanilla, sugar and honey glaze on them. It's amazing! They aren't too sweet which makes them even better! I definitely would live off of these if I could. It was my favorite container out of the entire box.

The next was the Strawberry Milkshake.
I'm not going to lie, I called this Strawberry Shortcake every time I talked about it. Oops.  This was the heavier of the 4 boxes coming in at 36g or 1.3oz. This had white chocolate buttons, baby strawberries and banana. The strawberry and banana were like dried fruit, but they were still tacky and soft. They weren't hard at all. This one I let my Niece and Nephew share and they liked it a lot. My Nephew liked the banana's the most and my Niece just did not care, she loved it all. She doesn't have many teeth, but she ate these.

The last box, I couldn't eat at all...well, it's not a "I couldn't eat" it was more of a "I don't eat" situation.
Lightly Toasted Pistachios
This container came in at 32g or 1.1oz. I don't eat pistachios but my parents do so they got this box. I'm not sure if they have eaten it yet because they have been in the process of moving. I'm sure they taste good though.

With Graze you get to pick and choose what kind of snacks you want to get a lot, a little or never, I really like that. I think I picked the pistachios as a little because I knew my family would like them and I like sharing with others. I like that they give you nutritional facts about each one on the back of a card and on the website you get the FULL ingredients list, which is nice. I also saw that they have dietary restricted boxes are well. Non-Celiac, Non-Vegan and Non-Dairy boxes. I do want to state that if you have a nut allergy be careful and make sure you read each thing. On the website it even states that there is no guarantee that the boxes will be suitable for your allergies or dietary requirements because everything is prepared in the same kitchen. So if you are deathly allergic to nuts, stay away. I'm allergic to some nuts, but it's not bad so I don't mind at all. Just be really careful if you do have nut allergies or any other dietary requirements. Definitely read the website very carefully!

Overall, I think it's a nice box, I cancelled mine because it was still $5 a week, they didn't install the other choices until after I cancelled. I think the box is worth $5, but it's not something that I would want to get regularly honestly. I did hear about a few other people getting expired snacks or almost expired snacks.. My best by dates were between 12/03/2013- 15/03/2013.. so I am not fussed about it at all. I read it wrong earlier when I was talking about it on instagram, I thought it said the 4th on them all. But it's all good in the hood! :)

All in all, it was a nice box, everyone seemed to enjoy the snacks inside of it!
