LashEm Extensions In A Bottle

Cruelty Free | PR | BrandBacker

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all are doing well! Today I have a review of LashEm Extensions In A Bottle for you! I never was a huge fiber mascara person because I had tried some really cruddy ones in the past when they were first SUPER popular, but I wanted to give this one a chance because I've heard some great things about LashEm!
I've got I would say medium length lashes, so I'm always looking for something to make them look longer. Who isn't though?! My lashes also like to be stick straight and I have the worst time trying to get them to stay curled, even using a waterproof mascara to set them doesn't help a lot of the time.

This is what LashEm says
"Get the long lashes you want – in two quick steps.
The bonding fibers and primer in these brush-on extensions attach to your lashes to create a fuller and more dramatic look. Volumizing mascara formula contains lash enhancing serum, resulting in healthier, stronger lashes through continued use. "

As you can see in the above picture, the mascara tube is dual ended. One end contains the fibers and the other end contains the actual mascara. The Application is easy you apply the mascara, fibers then another coat of mascara to seal the fibers in. That's pretty standard when it comes to fiber mascaras.
Brush wise as you can see in the picture above and below, the want itself is a standard mascara wand. Don't be discouraged by that, its more about the product then it is about the applicator anyways. The mascara portion is not too wet but not too dry, it's right in the middle. I prefer dry mascaras because they don't transfer onto the lid and all of that stuff us makeup lovers encounter with wet mascaras. HOWEVER, I am in love with the formula of this. It's dry enough to be easy to apply but wet enough to give your lashes a pretty decent amount of product with the least amount of effort. Now, keep in mind this is NOT waterproof or water-resistant. So don't wear this in the pool, or in the rain. I'm sure if you topped it off with a waterproof mascara you'd be fine though!
The fiber portion of the mascara is interesting. When I was first trying this out I was not able to get the fibers to actually stick to my lashes. I was pretty discouraged until I realized that it was all user error. After playing around with this mascara, I realized that the mascara itself needs to dry for a few seconds (10-15seconds) to get the maximum amount of fibers sticking to the lashes. I really do like the fibers. I like the fact that they're wet, I've seen some fiber mascaras where the fibers are LOOSE and messy. This in my personal opinion is perfect. Very easy to apply.

In the picture set below, I've shown you the application process.
1) Plain uncurled lashes
2) Curled Lashes
3) 1st application of the mascara
4) 1 application of the Fibers
5) 2nd application of mascara.
I'm sorry about the funky angle of the last picture, I know it doesn't look like there are a lot of fibers on my lashes, this was taken when I didn't let the mascara set for those few seconds.  In the picture below you can see my lashes in their full glory. I know they don't look insanely impressive in the picture but in real life, the difference is amazing. This has turned into my go-to mascara that I can't see myself without!
I read some reviews where people used a hair dryer with this mascara and their other mascaras. I'm sorry maybe I'm out of the loop but WHY on this Earth would you use a hair dryer on your lashes?! I mean really now.

Now, I've been testing this for a few weeks and since LashEm is about healthier, stronger, longer lashes and all of that jazzy stuff I wanted to let you all know what I've experienced upon continued use. My lashes have gotten fuller as well as they've gotten pretty long since I've been using this. Now I don't wear makeup on the daily, maybe once a week, or when I'm working on looks for blog posts (which I don't usually wear mascara in anyways, but have been recently) My lashes actually like to hold a curl now and oddly enough have a natural curl to them as well. I'm pretty pleased with this mascara as well as I'm pretty pleased with the growth and just better health and look of my lashes themselves. I say if you have a chance to try this mascara out, go for it! It's pretty dang amazing.

Children's Advil Suspension Fever Sugar-Free and Dye-Free - Berry

I was sent this to test out with Cloe and Chris from Smiley360. Luckily for me it arrived at a perfect time because the both of them were sick with fevers. What luck!

Children's Advil Suspension Fever Sugar Free & Dye Free is their newest product that they have released. The main ingredient in this is Ibuprofen which act as a fever reducer and a pain reliever. There is 100mg of Ibuprofen per every 5mL. Children as young as 2 and as old as 11 can use this product.
When I saw that this was in Berry I was a bit worried that the kids weren't going to like it, but at the same time I had some pretty good faith that they would. They are always surprising me with new things that they like. What I like about this is that you get up to 8 hours of relief when they aren't feeling good. I've used some fever reducers in the past that worked for only a couple of hours.

The first time Chris used this I was pretty surprised, he is a picky kid and whenever he takes any kind of liquid medicine he has to have a water chaser with it and with this he didn't. The kid seriously LICKED all of the medicine out of the little cup, that's amazing in my book. The day I gave this to him he was running a fever of around 100°F. When he took the medicine, his fever broke pretty quickly, within the hour actually. So that was amazing to me.
(He doesn't quite get how to take a pictures with his mouth closed)

Cloe on the other hand was running a 101.5°F fever and it kept going up. When we gave her the Advil, it did break her fever to a point, it came down to 99.0°F but she ended up falling asleep and her fever shot back up to about 103°F. That was how we found out she had an ear infection. She did continue to take the Advil every 6-8 hours depending on her fever and how she felt. Luckily, with her antibiotic and the Advil working together her fever hasn't come back and her ear infection went away! Woohoo on that. We have a happy baby.

The kids actually love this stuff to the point that they will come up and ask for it, even when they don't need it. NO they do NOT get it. They're crazy kids I tell ya. At least they both really like this product and had way too much fun posing with the packaging. I had pictures of them ACTUALLY taking the product BUT somehow the images went missing. Figures.

As an Aunt, I 100% recommend this product to anyone that has children between the ages of 2-11 years of age. This is definitely one of the better products that I have used for them. My Sister (their Mom) as well as my Mom (Grandma) love this for them.

You can find this at your local mass supermarket (Walmart, Target, etc), drugstores (Walgreens, CVS,etc) and anywhere that you can find Children's Advil. This retails for between $5-$7!

Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies With Biotin Review and GIVEAWAY

Press Sample
Hello Everyone! I hope you're all doing well!

Today I have a review of Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies with Biotin! Stay tuned towards the bottom for a giveaway!

I used these gummies for 30 days as part of the Nature's Bounty 30-day Hair, Skin and Nails Challenge. The bottle contained 80 gummies total, with no milk/lactose, artificial flavors, soy, gluten, wheat, yeast, fish, or sodium.  The three main ingredients are Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Biotin, which all work to strengthen hair and nails and keep skin looking great. The nutrients help support natural beauty from within: Vitamin E contributes to skin health, Vitamin C is involved with collagen production, and biotin acts at the base of the nail and also promotes healthy hair.

The gummies themselves are Strawberry flavored and remind me of strawberries and cream, which I am not the  biggest fan of but they're pretty tasty, I actually grew to like these quite a bit! This has 2g of sugar in it, but they're sweet enough that they were my sweet treat every day!

I started out by taking ONE gummy ONCE a day, but after about a week or two I started taking TWO gummies once a day. They suggest taking two gummies once or twice a day, but I just took them once a day. Hair and skin wise, I've seen a great improvement! I'm really impressed with these gummies. This is going to be really gross, but I can go almost two weeks between washes, where I used to have to wash my hair every other day because it got that oily. You can't even tell that my hair is oily! My hair itself has also felt thicker and more full. I have thin hair and it lays pretty flat a lot of the time, but my hair has just been.. well to put it lightly, I've been enjoying it. Skin wise, I've seen a HUGE improvement. It has not been as oily as it typically gets, and with living in Florida my skin gets very oily. My skin has also looked more vibrant, if that makes sense. It just looks healthier.

As for my nails, they've been growing like crazy BUT they've not been any stronger. They're still paper thing and just...well just shoddy. I know a lot of people had amazing results when it came to using this with their nails, but for me I didn't have the greatest. I'm going too keep taking these though and hope that since I'm changing how I'm eating and what not, that I will have better luck!
I really love these gummies and I've been recommending them to EVERYONE, who asks me about Vitamins.
