You know, I never thought I would see the day when I would have to change up my skin care, by how the seasons are here in Florida. Its weird! Maybe because I am trying to take better care of my skin and am more into skin care in the past year. Maybe that is the reason I am noticing all of the changes?!
I used my Dermalogica from October of 2011 to as of current I am still using the face wash, but I am noticing that it is not cleaning my skin or helping the oiliness, like it used too. Factors: Its not Fall/Winter anymore, so that would do it! I feel like I need a heavier cleanser or something to help me combat all of this jazzyness that comes with my oily skin, and the fact that in the Spring/Summer months, I sweat like crazy because its humid. So I am on the hunt for a new face wash. I will dearly miss my Dermalogica Clean Start, but I am sure that we shall meet again soon!
Now onto trying to actually find a new face wash! I have my eye on the new Philosophy Clear Days Ahead face wash, but I am not sure about it. I wish I could just get samples of the face washes that I want to try so I can see how they react on my skin! Does Sephora or Ulta even do that? No idea, I've never asked!
I honestly am kind of at a loss on where to start. Since I have combination oily, acne prone skin that tends to be sensitive a lot (damn allergies) I also have redness and hyper-pigmentation. I don't want a face wash that treats only acne because I have stuff for drying pimples out and I don't want to dry my face out more. ugh. Im so at a loss!
Do ya'll have ANY suggestions on where I should start, or products/brands I should look into!? That would be absolutely FAN-TASTIC!
Leave comments down below, tweet me, or even email me (can be found in my contact info) if need be! I am honestly up to trying anything.
Thank you all SO MUCH! for your suggestions!
xx Autumn
Hi! I've recently had very bad skin and that is something im not used to. My skin used to be "normal" , with no break outs. I tried so many different things with no results, then eventually I tried the Garnier Pure 3-in-1 Wash Scrub and Mask and I've really really had great results. I haven't even shared this in my blog yet, but since u seem to have similar issues I felt I had to let u know :D
ReplyDeleteI usually only use natural washes and oils on my face so I understand your concered that your gonna dry your face out more. If you decided to try this I recommend using the Mask/Wash, using a toner (I use a garnier one) and then applying an oil to your face like Argan Oil/Jojoba Oil or Almond Oil before your skin has a chance to get dry :)
Good Luck xx
Thank you so much! I will definitely look into that! I've never even thought of using Garnier! Thank you so much for sharing it with me!<3
