Poshinality - Mysterious

Press Sample

Poshinality is a new too the market brand that hails from Los Angeles, California. The polishes are aimed too reflect individuality and style as well as they want to inspire women globally to feel comfortable in their own skin through their polishes. I love that this company brings such a positive message too the market. Not only that but they are involved in some really awesome stuff, which I shall chat about at the end of the post!

Poshinality's name comes form the beautiful marriage of Polish and personality. Every time I write the name of the company, I want to write polishinality, I'm not joking. You should see my notebook that this post is actually written in! It's kind of comical. But let's get into what you're really here for! A look at the polish!!

Mysterious is described as a black with multi-glitter. I'm going too interject here and say that I feel that is false. To me and quite a few other people I've asked, this is a dark chocolate brown polish with black tendencies. It's also got a scattered holographic, that is a pain in the butt to capture on camera! :P It also likes to lean purple in the bottle, but it is by no means a duo-chrome. Just putting that out there
3 coats of the polish was used in all of the pictures. This swatch is of the polish by itself with no undie
The tag-line for this polish is Like you it's a color that's never dull, always attracting curious eyes.

The formula on this polish is absolutely spectacular! It's a little on the thin side and the first coat is a bit spotty but it makes up for it on the second and third coat (depending on your nails and what not) It's very easy too apply and it self-levels which is lovely because you don't have to fiddle around with trying to get it too look nice. The polish also dries very quickly.

I did wear this polish on my own nails before I swatched it on the fake nails and I'm extremely impressed at the wear-ability of it! I usually have rubbish luck with nail polish, It will chip after maybe 10 hours, heck I've even had polish chip after 30 minutes! This polish lasted for TWO days and the only reason I took it off after the second day was because I broke a nail. Just the sheer fact that it lasted through working and stocking the cooler at work says something! That is pretty destructive on my nails and is why I can't get them too grow. >(

All of that aside, I've had nothing but a good experience with the company and the polish. I definitely am lusting for more of their polishes! I find myself wanting too collect them all!!! (anyone else think of Pokemon?!)
The polish also likes to lean purple depending on the light.

Poshinality is a 5-free brand that is also Vegan, Cruelty Free and Made in the USA.
Each polish retails for $9.50 on Poshinality.com

As to what I talked about at the beginning of the post. Poshinality also donates a portion of it's revenue to B.Cause (Beauty Cause), which seeks to expand the definition of beauty through giving. Their current areas of focus are domestic violence, sex trafficking, AIDS awareness/care and global clean water Initiatives.
