Lane Bryant (Cacique) Cotton Boost Plunge Bra With Lace

Purchased Myself/Affiliate Links

I'm warning you now. This post will not be for everyone since there will be a picture of me wearing the bra. It's not every ones cup of tea, but you know me with liking to use my own pictures. Please be aware of that and keep nasty comments to yourself. :)

You've been warned so click on to see the review

Since I've been working I've been trying to purchase the necessities when I'm able too. My small checks aren't making it easy so one day I got a bug in my tush and decided to go to Lane Bryant to look at their bras. Lucky for me, they were having their 50% off the ENTIRE STORE! Oh girl, you know I got extremely excited. Not only that, but their bras are always buy 1 get 1 50% off so with purchasing 2 bras, I essentially got one for free. I don't think the sale is still going on but, it doesn't hurt to check out your local Lane Bryant to see if everything is still 50% off.

Now, my breasts are a 42C, I was measure WRONG originally and had been wearing a 44C, which was too big. Now we all know that when your bra is too small or too big, it's a bit uncomfortable so getting measured for the correct size is ESSENTIAL. I typically purchase bras from Wal-Mart because I am cheap (and with a small budget Wal-Mart is my go-to for bras), but I wanted to treat myself for successfully getting a job.

I purchased 2 bras like I previously stated. They're the same bra but in different colors. The Cotton Boost Plunge Bra with Lace was the bra I gravitated towards. I'm a push up bra kind of girl because of the fact that my boobs are greatly different sizes (about a cup difference) so I need all of the help that I can for cleavage. I got Sparkleberry (really? I mean it's a bloody hot pink bra just call it hot pink!) and a gray one. They don't have the gray one on the website but it is in the stores.

Typically I tend to stay away from bras with under wire because they really bug my underarms, like they dig in and it's painful, but I'm very surprised. The pink one bothers me a little bit, but the gray one doesn't bother me at all! I'm really in love with these bras. Not only that, but they don't cut into my skin, with my Wal-Mart bra it cut into my skin something fierce. I really love this bra and I definitely see myself getting quite a few more in the future! Cacique bras are definitely worth the money!

Excuse the fact that the strap was twisted, I didn't notice it until I was editing the pictures. Now, I will tell you that it took a LOT for me to decide to do this post, let alone take a picture of myself in a bra.

The Cotton Boost Plunge Bra with Laceretails for $38.50 and can be found at  Lane Bryant.com or in Lane Bryant Stores.

  2. I have this bra in a couple different colors and it is fantastic! I do find that the strap is always twisting though, but that's my only real complaint. The underwire doesn't bother me, it's comfortable and it's supportive. Great review!

  4. I'm really surprised the underwire doesn't bother me. It typically does. The pink one only bothers me if I hook it tighter then I normally would. Thank you! <3

  6. Both of these bras are really pretty! And they look like they fit really well. Your robot necklace is super cute, too!

  7. They are! They do fit really well, I didn't try them on in the store because I didn't have time so I pretty much put my money and faith into them. I got it in a blog sale from another blogger!

  8. I was going to make a racy comment, but it appears as though someone else beat me to it! I'm not sure that I care for the red/pink color combo, but I LOVE the gray one! I've never been into Lane Bryant but I will definitely check them out.

  9. Bahhaha. Go ahead! :P I just grabbed the pink one off of the shelf honestly and just made sure it was my size. That's how bad of a rush I was in. The gray one is my favorite as well! Lane Bryant is on the expensive side but if you catch them when they're having a sale, it's totally worth it!

  10. I am reallt glad I saw this. I lately have only been buying bras from Victoria's Secret, and while I do like them they are even more expensive than Lany Bryant ones. I'll have to check these out soon! Im in need of another bra. Lol. And bravo on your bravery hun! Very tastefully done and the necklace is super cute!
