Bring on 2014!

I hope you all had an amazing and safe New Years Eve!! Mine was uneventful, I spent the great majority of the night writing blog posts in my new blogging binder. Exciting right?! :P My 2014 started off on a not so great note though. I slightly closed my laptop when I went out to watch the last 30 minutes of the Dick Clark Rockin' New Years Eve and when I went to go back in, ms.sassy pants (Anya) decided the wanted to jump on my laptop and close the screen all of the way, don't even ask how she managed to do it, since it wasn't really closed anyways. Long story short, when she jumped on the back of the screen she busted the screen... Le sigh. Thankfully I have my Dad's desktop to use. In reality it was my own stupid fault BUT I'm not going to be or stay mad about it! =^_^=

2013 had been an okay year for me life wise. Moving, remodeling a house and just general life stuff have taken a toll on me emotionally and physically. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it all happened in a short amount of time, so it's definitely draining. We shant talk about the bad things though! Let's only talk about the positives!! (I did have some negative things to write but I am deciding to omit them)

1. We FINALLY moved out of the apartment, I am viewing that as a good because I was over our landlord not fixing the roof and it was getting worse. 
2. I got a job! :D
3. Chris and I's relationship has grown stronger since the move
4. We got a house! Even though we're in the process of re-building it, we still have a house
5. My Nephew Started School
6. Friendships were rekindled
7. Joined the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida!

That's a lot of stuff! Of course there is more, but those are just the highlights! Honestly, after the move, I almost gave up blogging because it's keep a bit difficult for me to do my makeup or really go in depth or what not. Granted, I still do my makeup, even though it's not as often and I do still go in depth (because I write everything on paper now) it's still difficult. I don't have a set area for me to just sit and get away and blog. Once we get the house done though, I'll have my own little area and I'll be able to get down and dirty into blogging like I once was. 

Joining the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida has been probably one of the best highlights of my year! By joining them I've definitely come out of my shell and I'm not as shy or what not. Everyone in the group is amaing and I'm so glad that I was allowed to join! I would like to become better friends with them all though, I still feel like the odd girl out! :P

 I've gotten a lot of opportunites through my blog this past year and I am extremely grateful for every single one of them! I do finally feel like my blog has "made" it, I've been relatively unknown for the past 3 years (yes it's coming up on 3 years) I never thought I would make it this far and I am so thankful that I have! I've met some of the most amazing people through blogging and I've become friends with a lot of them! I'm grateful for every peron I've met, each one has touched my life in their own special way!

I'm determind to make 2014 a better year then 2013 was! 

I don't really have any resuolutions for 2014 I do have a couple, but they're nothing too crazy (depending on how you look at it)

1. Finish rebuilding the house and move in before Thanksgiving
2. Wear Makeup More
3. Get better at taking pictures

See, that's it! Pretty simple right!?
