Before anyone gets their knickers in a bloody knot, I am going to state this RIGHT HERE. I did have to color correct these to the best of my ability to get a more accurate representation of the gloss. Before you go "omg this is edited! Why are there blurred parts?!...etc" Well, I already stated the answer to the first part and as per the "blurred parts" damn right. I don't want to gross y'all out with a close up of my nasty pores. In my depressed state, I hath neglected my face and well, my pores basically are like BAM! slap in the face you can see them from a mile away. Now now. Let's get into the review of this sexy lip gloss!

This might be a little picture heavy as a warning. I kind of LOVE some of the pictures I took and I wanted to share all aspects of the product and packaging. 

First I know people don't really care about packaging my let me say, I love the outer box. It's so sleek and the gloss pot fits PERFECTLY in the package. I hate hate excess packaging and I love that there is none with this. I LOVE that the packaging is all black and states the obvious. What the product is, the brand and the website. On the back it states that they do not test on animals. I love simple packaging and this really won my heart! 

Now onto the review about the actual product! xx

Are you surprised with this review? I ALWAYS go on about not liking lip products, especially glosses. This product though made me EAT my own words. I know a lot of people are skeptical about reviews where products were sent for free. This definitely put me out of my comfort zone and honestly, I was expecting to NOT like it, because it's a gloss and well, it is RED. So it put me very VERY FAR out of my comfort zone.

The Ageless Derma Satin Lip Gloss is a moisturizing gloss with Aloe vera, green tea extract and peppermint oil. This product is NOT tested on animals (woohoo) but it is not vegan because it does contain beeswax. So do keep that in mind when purchasing these. This retails for $15 for a 4.77 gram pot. This would be considered "high end" since it can't be found in drugstores. You can purchase this HERE.

The color I received was Cranberry and let me tell you the first thing I thought when I first opened this was "OhMyGoodness!!!! This is hooker red!!!!" No lie, I went running around the house showing it to everything. However!! Let me tell you, this isn't as crazy as it looks in the pot. (thankfully) Oh! Did I mention this comes in a pot?! It's a VERY unique way to package a lip gloss. You don't find many glosses in pots. You will definitely need a brush to use this. 

This gloss isn't sticky at all which I extremely appreciate. Not many lip products impress me with first use and this product I LOVE. I've used this quite a bit actually and it's really flattering, in my opinion. Something I really love about this is that it kind of looks jelly in the pot and as you're applying it. You can build it up or leave it nice and sheer. Oh! Another awesome thing about this product is that it STAINS your lips, so do be careful. I noticed this after the first use. It leaves your lips with a gorgeous pink stain and you can't get with any other lip product. 

I know that the lip swatches aren't that great but my camera is on the outs and I am saving up the money for a new one. :) They're not close up because if I tried to crop them, they looked way blurry and I took picture about 8 different times. Super lame camera problems!

Since this is a lip gloss it is sheer, but you can build it up. This does look more pink on my lips then red, it is my natural lip color working with/against the actual color of this product. Even when it shows it's amazing red gloriousness and when it shows up a beautiful pink, it is an amazing product. I am happy with BOTH ways that it shows. I definitely would choose to wear this alone because it gives you a beautiful stain that lasts for a couple of days. 

I definitely recommend this product if you are in the market for a beautiful red gloss.
