I got this box last week and yes, it has taken me this long to post it. I've not had time to test out a couple of products out but I am planning on doing individual reviews for some of the products so definitely look out for those! =^_^=

Dr.Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles ($10.99)
To get this out of the way I shall talk about it first. :)
I don't wear high heels at all because they are (for me) uncomfortable and they actually do not agree with my back. I definitely will not get any use from these to be honest. I am grateful for them because I do know that someone will get some kind of use out of them! But for myself personally I wont.
SinfulShine With Gel Tech Sailor's Delight ($2.99)
I DID try this. There are no swatches yet, but I will do a separate post. What I will say is that I had a huge issue applying this polish. I do have a second one that I purchased before I got this and I have the same issues with it. It's a thick formula, while yes it does try VERY shiny, it takes forever to dry. This is also hard to apply and it doesn't self level do you have to apply is VERY slowly (or quickly) to make it look even. I know a couple other people who are having issues with this line of polishes, so it makes me feel good that I'm not the only one experiencing it!
Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics ($3.99-4.99)
I just started testing these out...Yes, even though it's been really hot in Florida, I've been waiting to test them. I will say this, they are kind of pricey and you can just go to a craft store and get some elastic and make your own cheaper. :) BUT I think that these are kind of neat.
Olay Fresh Effects {BB Cream!} Skin Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($12.99)
The Olay BB Cream, this is not a BB cream, it even says on the box that it is a Tinted Moisturizer. Most Western BB creams are just glorified tinted moisturizers anyways. I'm swatched this twice and that's honestly it. It's been SO HOT in Florida that I don't want to put anything on my skin, pretty sad huh. I definitely need to get my tush working to try this, especially since it does have sunscreen in it. The scent of this actually reminds me of sunscreen..it's kind of a fruity scent. I really like it.. don't judge me! :P
All in all, I was okay with this box. It wasn't anything exciting for me. I am grateful that I was chose to receive it! I'm really glad to have to new things to play with because that is definitely always a good thing! What do you think of this box? Have you tried anything in this box? If you have let me know your opinions!

I hate to complain because after all the box is FREE...:P But I felt like this box was kind of underwhelming. I don't like BB creams and mine was too light anyway, I've heard almost everyone was underwhelmed by the polish, and while I like the hair elastics I agree they're kind of pricey.
ReplyDeleteI do like the insoles. I've heard other people say they work okay in flats too but I haven't tried it.
I'm not a fan of BB creams either so I definitely feel you! This one is too light for me as well, but it also has NO coverage. The box was VERY underwhelming. The only thing from the box that I have constantly used is the hair ribbons. They so stretch out really easy though, but it's all good.
