The Lash Potion is a part of Revlon's Grow Luscious line. If you are not a fan of the regular Grow Lucious'  brush then you may not be a fan of this mascara. The wand is similar but it's not as "bushy".

Grand Central Beauty Skin Perfecting™ Polisher

Hello everyone! Today for you I have a review of Grand Central Beauty's Skin Perfecting™ Polisher! This is one of their newest products to hit the shelves. It came out recently back in February! This product exfoliates, peels and tones the skin in ONE step! How awesome is that?!
This product is made with fruit acids, botanical's and polishing beads. This product is the first of it's kind so that is a very exciting thing in general! This is also for all skin types.

This retails for $38 for 1.6fl oz (30mL) It seems like a lot of money BUT you only needs a small amount. So this is definitely worth the money and it definitely will go a long way.

#FOTD 10 & #NOTD Ft. Ninja Polish Floam!

Heyo everyone!

Today I have a combined post for you! I decided not to do my FOTD post on Saturday like I had planned. 

Not only that but I have a special polish for you from Ninja Polish! Ugh I love it! I got this polish from the lovely Corrinne from Galactic Lacquer for winning her blog anniversary giveaway! I love her blog and envy her nails so definitely go check her out!

Floam is a really popular polish, I remember seeing it a while ago and wanting it back then, but it slipped off my radar and I am not sure why. Imagine how excited I was when I won! Eek. That f'real make my week!

Floam is a matte neon blue and green/yellow fine glitter in a clear base.The base to me is a little bit yellow, but I really don't care. It makes the polish all that more beautiful!

For my FOTD I went with Sugarpill. I saw Vintage or Tacky do her "Speed Tutorial" and she used some of the colors out of the Sugarpill palette and it stuck in my head and I was determined to do it! =D It came out a lot better than I thought it would honestly.

göt2B POWDER'ful Review

Hello Friends!

Before I even get into the post, I want to apologize about the grainy gross nature of the pictures. I'm not quite sure what is going on with my camera. Le sigh. I also got this product for free from Bzzagent

POWDER'ful is a volumizing styling powder that you apply to the roots of your hair for instant volume. This powder is weightless once you apply it! You practically forget that you put it in your hair!

I've got pretty fine hair that is mostly straight, so it lays pretty flat. This product is ah-maze-ing! The volume i got from it wasn't that crazy, but it's better than what I had previously! What I do want to mention is to use this when your hair isn't a greasy mess, like it is in the pictures. You will still get the volume, but it wont be as "good" as it is when you put it in clean, un-greasy hair. Now if you are looking for big "Jersey" hair (my moms from Jersey) as they call it, this may not be for you. But it's still really good.

So, the past what month? I have been really really self conscious about my nails. I have two very short nubs that do NOT want to grow at all :(. It's kind of depressing honestly. The damn things just will not grow. I decided to just get over it and play around with some nail polish. I've been attempting to paint my nails for 2 weeks. Every time I start, they don't dry completely and get smudged! Ugh it stinks so bad! >_< I'll get halfway done, they get messed up and I just say screw it! 

Welp! Last night I got a bug up my tushka and I was DETERMINED needless to say to get these bad boys painted. Woo!

Hello Beautiful!


Today was just one of those days honestly. It basically consisted of a LOT of sleep, trying to get all of the Benadryl out of my system. My face also is a little rashy looking, which is just meh. I'm not enthused, but I'm not worried, I guess I need to do another oatmeal face mask! If you want to see what it consists of (3 things for real) and what not and how to make it let me know! It really helped last night!

Anypoodles, I was just playing with some stuff today, I did kind of my "every day" eye but I used different products. =^_^=  I also am going to add to pictures, they go with the FOTD but they also have a story behind them. Lol.

Quick update and important information

Hey everyone!
This is a very quick and pretty important (for me) update about a couple of things. It's also VERY impromptu as well. Chris and I might be moving, which will make things VERY bloody hectic. Not only that, but for right now, until we get our house ready, I could be losing my whole area. Blogging, nail polish, etc area until we get our house done. Chris and I haven't full decided what we are going to to, but I wanted to let you all know what is going on.

I most definitely would still be blogging etc but I probably wont get any videos done until our house gets done.. I'll definitely have to fight to get the FOTD Challenge done because I honestly do not know where I will be putting my makup at all. I can fit it in my Steralite container (the big one) or that might be where my nail polish goes. Like I said this is a very last minute thing (like i Just got off the phone before I started this) kind of last minute. I will definitely keep you updated on Twitter and on the facebook page I created the other day.  So definitely, if you do not want to wait for update blogs, etc Twitter and Facebook would be the places to look.

It will probably stunt my participation in a few other things as well. If this were to happen then I definitely can't make it to the CFL beauty blogger class in May because it's going to be right in the middle of moving.
I hate impromptu things honestly. Especially since we only have a few days to figure out what's going to happen before we move.

Blue Eye Shadow "Tutorial"

Hi everyone!

*waves like a crazy person*

So, just as a kind of disclaimer, this really is NOT a tutorial. My skin absolutely HATES me for what I did to it for the sake of this post.

The basis of this post is basically, I see some crazy ways that people wear makeup, especially around where I live. I'm not even going to tell you some of the stuff I have seen. I figured, it would be kind of "fun" to maybe recreate some of the looks that I have seen around. I'm not making fun of anyone. I've not taken pictures of people either. The only face you will see is mine, and maybe Chris' if I can convince him to let me make him look 'sexy'. :P

So without further adieu lets look at how "sexy" I made myself look!

April 2013 Ipsy Bag

Hello everyone!

It's the time of the month again, Ipsy!

This months theme was "Pretty In Pink". Now, I for one have never been insanely crazy for pink, but I do wear pink nail polish etc. For me, this bag was not anything to crazy, the thing that I was most excited for was the nail polish. I've never had anything from the brand before and was pretty damn excited. For this bad there were two either or products and the nail polish there were two colors being sent out. 

Relogy Skincare Review

I received this product from iFabbo for Relogy for free. I am not being paid nor am I affiliated with either companies. 

When I first received these products, I decided to keep a very open mind. I didn't want to read reviews or opinions on it, because I wanted to test it without having any expectations.

Relogy is a skincare system for acne prone skin. Holla! I have been suffering with acne since I was young. I've tried every drugstore acne brand there is and nothing really worked for me. I've tried a couple of high end brands as well and while they did work for my skin I hated the price of them. Now I am going to be upfront with you and tell you that this retails for $49.95! Ugh, you should have seen my face when I saw that. Now you do get three things with that $50. You get a rinse--free treatment foam, Skin balancing lotion and you get a spot treatment pen. Three things for $50 isn't that bad, but it still kills me to think about it. While I'm not fond (at all) of the price, I do have to say that I love the products.

Influenster - Dickinson's Witch Hazel Towelettes

Tweets Nail Polish Review (Updated(

I purchased these with my OWN money

Tweets Cosmetics is a new nail polish brand that has recently come out and at the present moment is exclusive to Walmart. My Walmart didn't have their display set up, it seriously just had the trays of nail polishes sitting on a shelf, I really wouldn't have noticed them if I weren't in the isle getting nail polish remover. That's how out of the way my Walmart has them. (shame on you Walmart. Shame)

The names of these nail polishes are all basically tweet & text shorthand. Not gonna lie, I only knew what a few of them meant. I had to go online and find their website to find out the names of the polishes! I think it might be a little helpful if what they mean was under the names. For two of them in particular. They look like they would be gorgeous jelly polishes, but that's not the case. I'll get to that in a minute though!

FOTD #4 & Update

Hello!

Todays FOTD honestly took me FOREVER to photograph and to bloody get done. Looking at the pictures, you can't even tell that I have a crease color on. Bloody hell. I probably could have blended out the outer edges a bit more (again) but I had to clean up the mascara bits from it (which wound up transferring again anyways), plus with my eyes being the way that they are, you can't really see that the edges aren't really blended out. So that is a plus. PLUS I wan't really trying to impress anyone, I was going to the mall with my Sister, Niece and Nephew. 

imPRESS Nails Medium Length Review (updated)

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I decided to cut my nails because they looked completely ragged. Not gonna lie, I cried a little bit when I cut them. They weren't long to begin with but they needed to be cut.
Anyways, I've got a few nail polishes I have to swatch, etc and I figured I would just pick up a pair that way you all didn't have to look at my gross nubs. Plus, I cut my thumb nails too short and it kind of hurt! >_<
I knew imPRESS had put out the Medium length ones recently and since they didn't look too bad, I figured I would give them a try. The Short ones are the ones that I normally get and those are plenty long enough for me.

Let me just tell you, these bad boys should be labeled as LONG. Holy crap, No joke, I'm fighting cutting them, even though I know if I do they will look like crap, but goodness! I know Anya loves being scratched between the ears with long nails, so that might be the only time it's acceptable. For me at least. Please keep in mind that I am not used to having long nails, so these feel pretty freakish on me.

I know my ring finger on my left hand looks a bit disproportionate and like it was not applied correctly, but that finger is kind of messed up anyways from an accident from when I was 5.

Also keep in mind that they put the glue pretty high up on these nails, so the underside is going to get dirty from stuff sticking to the glue. There really is no way to prevent that from happening, it even happens with the "short" ones.

While them feeling freakishly long on my fingers, I also have short-ish nail beds, so that is going to keep in mind as well. These nails will fit differently on everyone, but I suggest if you have short nail beds to get the short length nails. They will definitely be a much better fit and will look a lot better on your hands.

As per the color I got, I bought "Behind the Scenes". I figured these would be the most appropriate colored ones I guess? The other ones that my Walmart had were kind of unattractive and something that maybe a teenager would wear. That isn't a very good look on me. Hah

All in all, while I feel that these are too long for me, I feel that some people can pull them off. I am NOT one of those people. I plan on sticking to the short length ones.

I also want to point out before I end this that the glue on these is not the same as the shorter ones. I found these started coming off after only an hour. I'm not sure if this is for ALL of the medium length ones or just this particular pair. It's quite disappointing :( 
UPDATE: These wound up falling off after less thank 3 hours. I'm pretty disappointed in the medium length ones pretty hard. I would return them, but I don't think Walmart will take them back since the package is half empty.

Beautisol TeaTan Glow Instant Tan

Autism Awareness NOTD

Today, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. I personally don't know anyone that has Autism, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to help raise awareness for it!

Autism Awareness' color is blue. I know a lot of other bloggers are doing manicures as well and I kind of wanted to join in on it! I figured it would be fun to do something out of my norm.

For this manicure I wanted to use one of the polishes that I received in the Central Florida Beauty Bloggers Swap.

100 FOTD Challenge! #1

Hello everyone!

In 2011 I saw Sirvinya do this challenge and I wanted to do it then, but just wound up deciding against it. She finished her 100 days in September 2012 after starting them October 2011.
The name of the game is to do 100 Face Of The Day's in 1 year.
The rules are you have to use everything from your makeup stash at least ONCE. No wearing your same look EVERYDAY and counting it as a FOTD. My makeup stash isn't as big as it used to be, but I've been in such a rut and only ever use my Naked Palettes anymore, so I am taking on this challenge. I want to give everything in my stash a fair chance, and secretly I miss using fun colors! I just can't bring myself to switching it up!

So I've only seen a couple of April's Fools jokes.
The one YouTube did was okay.
Them talking about picking ONE video that win out of the billions that have been uploaded, then shutting YouTube down until 2023.. Hilarious? Not really. I didn't think it was that funny.. Kind of stupid in my opinion, but so many people believed it, so it was effective!

The only other one that I have seen is from Zoya. This one, make me laugh. I'm not going to lie, if it were real and if it were not expensive, I would buy it just because it's quirky.
