Shaving

When it comes to shaving everyone is different. Some like waxing, or products like Nair and others like old fashioned shaving. I for one prefer shaving for various reasons. I've never used wax before and honestly it scares me. I am a sissy when it comes to pain, so I will never get anything waxed. I am considering getting my eyebrows waxed, but the thought terrifies me. Thats another blog though. Haha

I've tried all types of hair removal (except waxing like I said) and honestly, shaving is the only thing that does it for me. I've tried Nair and Veet. I'm not a huge fan of hair removal creams. For one, they smell absolutely horrid and you have to keep them on for at least 5 minutes, and trying to keep me from walking or moving for 5 minutes is like trying to get a 3 year old to stay still. I really don't like staying in one place too long, I start to get antsy. Not only that, but I am actually allergic to the chemicals in Nair and Veet. I learned that the hard way. That was a sexy few days of rashy red and itchy legs! Needless to say, I don't recommend them. If they work for you that is fantastic,  just keep them away from me. Haha.

Shaving is my way to go. I've used every type of shaving cream, gel, lotion and what not that you can get in the drug store. I see no need to spend massive amounts of money on something that you are going to just wind up scraping off of your body. I've even used just about every type of disposable and even cartridge razors  out there. The only ones that I have really found that I like are the Bic Soleil disposable razors. I used to buy the huge packs of like 32 at Sams Club for $16, which is not bad at all.

They have 3 blades, a moisture strip and a strip that changes color when its time to throw them out. Ironically they are even scented in Lavender. Why they are, I have no idea but they are. It's a very subtle scent and you can't tell that its even there unless you put the handle directly up to your nose. They also come in I believe 3 colors. Two different shades of pink and a purple. Its a very cute touch to your bathroom or shower! Chris even likes using these! Which is kind of funny, he says they work better than his "man razor" so he always steals a few of mine when its time to shave his face. Lol

Now as for the shaving cream aspect, I am not going to lie, I use a man's shaving cream. Why? Im not sure. I use to always use my Dad's when it was time to shave my legs and I don't know, I just really liked the close shave that I got from this.

Chris uses this as well, so we share a can. But really, this stuff is amazing, I am not even going to lie. No shame. Hahah. There are different kinds of this and honestly its really cheap at only $1.29. I've used women's shave creams and what not before and I don't know, I just always come back to this stuff. (Chris likes it for his beard as well, for all of you men out there.) I would suggest using a lotion after using this though. It can dry out your legs a bit, then again you should lotion your legs anyways after you shave. I would rather have dry legs after shaving then have to deal with missing spots of leg hair.

I don't really like using Shaving Lotions like the EOS ones for example because they clog up the razor like crazy. Im not partial to the gels either because before you know it, the can is empty and you are wondering where the hell all of the product went! Or is that just me? o.o Really though, I love using this shaving cream, regardless of it being for men.

Some tips that I have for shaving!!

  1. Before shaving wait at least 3 minutes in the shower before shaving!! The warm water will help soften the stubble and help in making a closer shave. Don't however soak in the tub or shower before shaving because once the skin swells with water, you wont get as close of a shave as you want.

  2. Use a shaving cream This one is kind of an obvious. You don't want to shave bare, that it just asking for nicks and cuts. You can also look for creams with aloe or mineral oils in them to protect the skins natural oils.

  3. Work against the grain when shaving your legs. Multiple directions when shaving underarms, because those pesky hairs grown in every direction!! When shaving the bikini line, shave in the same direction of the hair growth.

  4. Use a three to five blade razor to help prevent irritation. You should replace your razor's after 4 uses!

I hope this helps you all out in your shaving!!

Tip Tuesday : Getting Love Bugs Off Of A Windshield

Okay, so here in Florida around June the Love Bugs come out in full force, does this happen anywhere else?! Seriously, are love bugs anywhere else besides Florida? I'm not trying to sound stupid, I am being honest because I've never seen them anywhere else. Then again I've only ever been in Tennessee twice and drove through a few other states and have never seen them.

Those little hellians are the most annoying this come summer time. They can be interesting and all of that, but they cause a lot of concerns and pain when its Love Bug season. They can cause excessive clogging of vehicle radiator air passages with the bodies of the adults, with the reduction of the cooling effect on engines. The worst part is the  obstruction of windshields when the remains of the adults and egg masses are smeared on the glass. That in my opinion is the WORST because if you don't get them off quickly and you just let them sit on your windshield or on your car, their "fluids" can actually eat away at your paint and are hard as heck to get off windshields.

So, how do you get on of these little buggers off of your windshied?! Easy, a Dryer Sheet. Simple as that. You can use a used on or a new one and just run it over the windshield or anywhere else you have bugs and they come off easy peasy.  I wish I would have known this way long ago, when I used to rush to wash my car so I could get them off! Aargh!

If you suffer from Love Bugs dying on your windshield and you want an easy solution to get them off without scrubbing your vehicle, try this out and let me know how you like it!

What to look for in Lip Balms

Anyone who knows me, know I am absolutely obsessed with Lip balms. Whether they are tinted or not. I always have at least 1 lip balm on me (or more in my purse) at all times. In the apartment you will find a lip balm tube everywhere, from the kitchen to the bathroom and everything in between. What sparked my obsession with lip balm?

When I was working at Busch Gardens, I was always in the sun, so I was always wearing sunscreen, but my lips were getting very chapped and dry to the point that it was painful. So, off to the drugstore I went! The first one I bought was a tinted lip treatment from ELF. I must say I do NOT recommend that one at all, its very waxy and actually feels, smells, tastes absolutely disgusting.  I've found way better ones that I love more from Burt's Bees, Neutrogena, Blistex, Panama Jack, ETC.

But how should you go about choosing a lip balm if you have chapped lips?

You want to look for lip balms that have ingredients such as petrolatum, Shea butter, hyaluronic acid, and dimethicone. Those are all good at restoring moisture.

You don't want to get balms that are waxy, and viscous. You want the ingredients to penetrate the fissures, not shield them from being penetrated by the awesome goodies to help un-chap your lips!

If you have Chronic lip chapping though, I would suggest looking for a lip treatment that contains ceramides, that help restore the skin barrier.

My all time favorite lip balms are the Panama Jack lip balm with SPF 45 & Palmer's Cocoa Butter lip balm. Those two are the only lip balms that I've ever finished.

I also like the Burt's Bees, Blistex lip balms are nice... Just in general, Im not discriminatory of lip balms. Lol. If I try it and don't like it, I wont use it.

I hope you all enjoyed this post!

When Should You Throw Out Your Mascara?

Hello everyone!

I've recently realized lately how people don't know some important facts about makeup. Or at least.. when they should throw their mascara out! Its not been just once person that I know who didn't know when they should throw their mascara out, its actually been quite a few!

The reasons that they don't know is that they could be new-er to the makeup world or just were never told. I am here however to tell you that you should throw out your mascara tubes every 3 months! Why every three months? Well, from the first time you open your tube, you let air into it and bacteria starts growing inside of the tube. Honestly, that is why I don't buy expensive mascaras because they will just end up getting thrown out, even if they haven't been used up.

If you don't want to throw your mascara out after 3 months and you think that you can make it last longer then what I suggest is too smell it. Yes, smell that bad boy every time you use it. That way when it starts to go bad you will be able to tell. Definitely when the mascara starts to go bad, throw it out. You don't want to hurt your eyes, just because you want to use every single drop of your mascara.

I hope this helped you all out if you didn't know when you should throw your mascara tubes out!

Its also really hard to do mascara reviews because everyone's lashes are different. I will try and do a few for you, so that you know which are my favorite!

A little blog talk!

Hey Everyone!

I know I missed my Fav's Friday and my Shout Out Sunday posts, I am really sorry. I have been having kind of a hard week and honestly felt very uninspired and it was giving me a huge blogging block. Every time I would start a post, I would just stop and close it out. I am back on track though! :) I have a lot of reviews I want to do for you this week and even a review!

I also fixed my comment section. You don't have to leave you name and email address anymore, I know a lot of people are wary of doing that. I didn't even realize that it was like that. I am hoping that is why I don't get as many comments as I had hoped. Haha. But anyways its all fixed and you are not required to leave your email address anymore. :)

I'm thinking of doing Shout Out Sunday once every two weeks or once a month. I don't want to do it every week because I might run out of Shout Out's before too long and I don't want that to happen!! What do you think?

If you have noticed, my Tip Tuesdays are not always about makeup, I've posted a few random ones the past couple weeks. Is that interesting to anyone? I don't want my blog strictly related to Beauty because I love blogging about other things. Should I just keep this as a beauty blog and move my other non-beauty things to a different blog?

I really would love some insight on the type of content you all would like to see! <3 I would really appreciate it!

Thank you all so much for reading and understanding! <3

Big Lots/Walmart/Walgreens/CVS Haul!

Hey everyone!  So its been a while since I really bought anything makeup or beauty related. Kind of weird since I am a beauty blogger huh?! Nothing has really just jumped out and caught my attention or called me secretly to tell me that it needs to come home with me.

I kind of picked up some essentials that I needed then I just got a few random things that I wanted. More or less I got a lot of nail polish. I will not lie. I have a slight.. okay that was a lie, I have a nail polish addiction. Hahah

Anyways so from CVS I just got 2 nail polishes because I had $5 in extra bucks.

They are in the colors Tribeca Silver and Water Street Blue. I also got 2 lip balms that were on clearance because I am running out of all of mine. I don't have a picture of them but they are the Blistex Herbal answer and Burts Bees Medicated. I've never tried either, so I am excited to open them. I've also never tried NYC polishes before, so its going to be a new experience for me!

From Walmart I got

I've never tried Suave body wash, so I figured that I would give it a try. I also got a new can of Suave hair spray. I totally ran out of my previous one. Also, they re-packaged it, I kind of like the new packaging a lot. Hah. I also got a twin pack of Dove Deodorant. I loooove dove deodorant. So, I figured I would just pick up the twin pack and save me from having to buy a new one later.

My Walgreens and Big lots is going to be mixed because the majority of it is in one picture.

Sinful Colors nail polishes are on sale for $0.99 this week at Walgreens so I totally had to scoop some up! There have been quite a few that I have been eyeing. I have 3 SC polishes that  I bought my mom a couple years ago from their Christmas collection, and I liked their formulas so I had to definitely scoop more up! I plan on putting a separate blog post up later this week with swatches and their names! So look out for that!

Also from Walgreens I got another Revlon 3D PhotoReady mascara, it is my absolute favorite and I've been trying others out so I just repurchased it. Its been calling my name, but I've not had the money to get it. The other Revlon mascara is the ColorStay Overtime, its one of their new mascaras and it says its 24Hrs. Its a lengthening mascara, so I am excited to try that out!

Everything else is from Big Lots.

The Max Factor Pan-Cake foundation is in 101 Natural No.2 I got it for Josh, since I know he has been looking for it but you can't find Max Factor in the US anymore, so when I saw it I scooped it up!  I got the Calvin Klein eye shadow in Emerald, which is a really pretty metallic emerald. It was $5.50, so of course I had to get it. Its normally around $14. The CoverGirl lashblast Fusion is my favorite of the lash blast mascaras and the Sula Pull & Peel nail polush was only $1.50. I think I Made out pretty well at Big lots !! :D

That is really all that I have gotten in the past few days! I hope you all enjoyed seeing what I got! Expect reviews very soon!

Tip Tuesday: Getting Tar Off Of Skin/Tools

This tip is for those handy men (or women) out there!

Have you ever been working with Tar, using it on a roof or other places, and you got it on yourself or on your tools? Its a pain in the butt to get off. (trust me)

This tip actually comes from my Dad. He is a huge handy man, mechanic... well really, the only thing my Dad can't do it transmissions. Its the only thing he never learned.

Anyways, the simple way to get tar off of your skin and your tools is simply ......

It sounds kind of crazy to be putting Diesel on your skin, but it actually works! I've used it along with my Dad, Chris, Brother, Uncle ETC. Its just a simple way of getting it off. Of course after you are going to want to get a shower, since you will have something flammable on your skin.

Obviously, you do not want to use this if you have any cuts, scrapes, wounds.. really anything that is open. It will burn like a mother. You don't even really need a lot, so if you were to go out and buy only a gallon, it would last a pretty long while.

When you are using the diesel, it would be best to put it on a rag and just take the tar off that way. =^_^=

I hope you all enjoy this latest Tip Tuesday!

Review: Alba Botanica Natural Acne Dote Oil Control Lotion

Hello loves!

This blog post is literally a long time coming. Why? I have no idea, I just would start this review then stop typing it half way through and delete it. No idea why.

This is the Alba Botanica Natural Acne Dote Maximum Strength Oil Control Lotion. I don't see why Companies give their products such long names. -_-

I purchased mine at Walmart for around $12. Kind of expensive for a facial lotion, but when I purchased this, my skin was going crazy. My face was so broken out and nothing was helping it at all. I wound up buying all 4 products that were in this line and spent around $50, which was kind of insane, but I was hoping it would help.

You can purchase this many places. I've seen it at Target and Walmart, but you can also buy it online. Depending on where you look you can get it from around $9.53- $15. It $15.50 on the Alba Botanic website. It comes in a 2 oz ( 57g) squeeze tube and is oil-free. It also has 2% salicylic acid in it, so if you can not use it, I would steer clear of this entire line. The Salicylic Acid is formulated with willow bark extract, and it is the main ingredient in this lotion. It also claims to give you an all-day matte finish.

As for the all-day matte finish, for me it didn't do that. I maybe got a good 6 hour matte finish and that was wearing no foundation, just this lotion. Then again when I purchased this, I was not as into skin care as I was then, so I may have not been using enough, or it just didn't give me the all-day matte finish that it claims. Which was not a huge deal to me, at the time and still is not now. I do think that this is a nice moisturizer or "lotion" as it says, but to be 100% completely honest. I can't use it. I'm not going to sit here and sugar coat how much I like this. I do really like it, but I just can't use it.

Why? It smells like raid bug spray, it may be the willow bark, but its a VERY overpowering smell. Not only that, but it burns. When I say it burns I mean it. When I applied this, the burn lasted a good minute before it went away and it would make my face red. The smell lingers on your face as well. I could still smell it after a good couple hours. As for how did it work on my acne? Its a nice moisturizer, but for working on my acne, this tended to agitate some of my break outs a bit more and helped get rid of others.

There really is no sugarcoating this product and I honestly can't tell you to go out and buy it. Its been a good couple years since I purchased this and yes I am just getting around to doing this review, but I still have the tube, its actually sitting next to me as I type this. I've not repurchased it and I really don't plan on doing so, ever. Its not something that I would deal with the smell and the burn because its an amazing product, because honestly its just not. This wound up just being a flop for me. :(

Have you ever used anything from this line? I would love to know what you thought about it!

Tip Tuesday: Cleaning Up A Dropped Egg On The Floor

So, I actually never knew this until Chris told me about it, shortly after we got together years ago.

Have you ever dropped an egg on the floor? I'm sure you have! I know I have, they are a pain to clean up!!

This tip is really simple. All you need to do is pour salt over the egg and let it sit for 10 minutes at the most. Sounds weird right?! But it works!  When you cover the egg in salt, make sure you sprinkle some at least a half inch around the outside of the egg.

Why?

Well, the egg will start to solidify because of the salt. When this happens, the egg will start to pull in on itself and the extra salt around the edge of it will be pulled in with the egg.

Make sure you let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes though!

I know its kinda weird to think about but hey, I would rather do this then have to use a dish towel or a ton of paper towels to clean up the egg! Simple and easy is the best way!!

This is my tip for this Tuesday! Have you tried or ever heard of this before?! Its kind of unusual!

I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Product Shoutout/Review : Tavarua Face Stick Sunscreen SPF 30

Hello lovlies!
(If you see a * next to something, there will be extra information at the bottom of the post)

I am here to talk to you about an Indie product (Independant) This is actually my first ever product from an independant company so I am super stoked about that!!
Now, the story about how I got this product is that about 2+ months ago I went to Adventure Island and took my SPF 75 sunscreen and reapplied it about 4 or 5 times throughout the day and STILL got burned pretty bad. It was horrid, I whined so much about it on twitter. How lame! LOL, I was just more upset that the SPF 75 sunscreen didn't do anything! It was like I wasnt wearing sunscreen at all! How disappointing! Now yes, I do know that SPF 30 is actually better to get because it shields the skin from 97%, which is pretty impressive.

Anyways, so within me venting about the sunscreen the lovely Stephanie who I had been following since she found my first BeautyArmy blog post ages ago. She has her own company that she named Tavarua Skin. (How cute is that name?!) Anyhoo, she told me that she was coming out with an "All Natural Face Stick SPF 30" and she was curious if I would like to try it. In complete honesty, I am so honored that she asked me and sent me it! I literally was over the moon for days after she asked! She sent another product, but that is another blog post! But as a slight preview ITS AMAZING!!!!!!
This product is .6 oz and retails for $12 which is not bad. It is in a solid form, so if you think about it, it will last you a long while. I have not even made a dent in it and I've used it quite a few times and I apply a lot of it to make sure my face is protected! So, its really a good value!

This is a Zinc Sunscreen that goes on clear, is Coral Reef Safe*, Great for kids* and is coconut scented. The Active ingredient is Zinc Oxide 20% which is the sunscreen aspect of it. This also has a TON of other goodies that are good for your skin. It is also certified organic to the USDA/NOP standards. So that is one of the amazing aspects of this product and Tavarua Skin in general. The tube can also be recycled as its made from a minimum of 40% post industrial content and is made in the USA. All good aspects as well!

Now my personal experience with this product has been very good. I really have been enjoying this, especially living in Florida! To me this actually smells more like oatmeal then it does coconut, but it does have a slight undertone of coconut. I really LOVE the smell of this, I am not going to lie. When I first apply it, all I do is smell it and try and concentrate on my face so that I can continue to smell it. (Im weird, I know.) But the scent doesn't linger for long, which is good for some people who do not like scents to linger on their skin. This will not interfere with a perfume or anything. So no worries there.
I love that it is a twist up product as well. its very easy to just throw in your purse, backpack or beach bag, which ever you take that that day. Applying wise it feels a little gritty at first, but its nothing harsh or nasty, it feels really nice. It does feel a little waxy as well, considering it has two different types of wax in it. But in reality, the feeling doesn't stay long, when it sinks into your skin you don't feel it on anymore at all. The first time I put it on, my face was like woah woah woah woman, that are you putting on me?! And it became itchy, but that feeling didn't last long at all. In reality, all sunscreens do that to me when I put it on for the first time. So don't be alarmed by me saying that, its just my skin.
Now, I do have Combination, oily, acne prone, slightly sensitive skin. (crazy huh?!) and this does not make my face extra oily and its not clogged my pores. Now, this does leave a bit of a shine on your face, even though it goes on clear. At the same time, you are going outside, its not a huge deal if your face is shiny from the sunscreen. All sunscreens do it anyways, at least for me they do. So thats not a really big issue for me. If it is for you, just apply a little powder and be on your way, thats what I did today. (The day I am typing this)

As for wear time, that really depends if you are going to be in the water or sweating. Personally for me, I am a big sweater. Gross I know, but its just how my body always has been that way. I wore this to Busch Gardens the other day for my "ultimate test" because I knew I was going to be outside and in the sun for a long period of time. From around 11am to 4pm, I only applied this once because I honestly didn't have time to reapply I was chasing my Nephew around. I didn't get burned at all! I was super surprised about it! My face was a little bit red, but it subsided after a couple hours and turned into nice tan. Where I should have applied it was on the back of my neck. I had a fail moment and didn't put sunscreen on the rest of me, but hey. That is another story.

Even with me sweating like a dog because it was so humid and hot outside (That's Florida for you) my face only tanned. How awesome is that?! I really do love this face stick, its really an amazing product.

5 Favs Friday!

I realized I missed last weeks post ! D: I think I may have put up a different one, but no excuses! I had a fail moment. So this week has been eventful but not eventful in the favs area.

Oh Happy Friday 13th as well!

First I've been loving the crap out of my Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="550"] Image Courtesy of temptalia.com[/caption]

I wore some of the blue out of this palette and surprisingly Chris actually noticed that I was wearing eye shadow which is huge because he never notices. Lol. But really I just love this palette in general.

My second favorite is this picture. I don't know why maybe because it is Friday the 13th, but it just makes me giggle.

My next two aren't really weekly favorites. I will love them forever  and they will be my favorites till the end of time, but I just couldn't help but share these two pictures.

So story behind the pictures. We went to Busch Gardens yesterday and we took my Niece and Nephew to Sesame Street and they played in the water. Well, my nephew did at least, I literally had to pick him up and carry him out so we could leave because it was thundering out and the rain clouds were coming in. (it never did rain)

He is too Cute. :P This was right before PopPop (my dad) gave him a water toy and I got soaked. Lol.

We didnt bring her bathing suit but my Dad dipped her feed into the water and what not and she enjoyed it like crazy. :P

My last favorite is a food item. These are really neat and Chris and I have been enjoying them a lot.

This one so far is Chris and I's favorite. Now there is more cheese in this one than there is breadcrumbs, so if you want more breadcrumbs I would suggest adding your own. This has the right amount of spice and everything. With these though since there is 2 of us and there is enough is here for at least 6 portions, instead of putting the meat in the bag, I mixed the cheese and breadcrumbs together and just took some out as I needed it. (with clean hands of course)

So those are my 5 favorites for this week! What are your favorites?! I would like LOVE to know!

I hope you all had/have a wonderful week! <3

Microwaving a bar of Ivory Bar Soap

Oh my goodness y'all!! I am having a serious child moment right now.

So, I saw something about microwaving a bar of Ivory soap. I literally did this face o_O the fudge?! Yeah probably wont ever do that! I don't use bar soaps, they dry my skin out like crazy. Cue lizard skin. :P

When I got my VoxBox and this was inside of it, I was like :O SO GOING TO TRY THAT NOW! I was having a nerd moment. Granted it took me a week or two to get around to it, but hey, I did it, didn't I?! :P

Anyways so what you do is you take your bar of Ivory Bar Soap and you put it on  a microwave safe plate or dish, I chose the container it was in because 1) microwave safe & 2) I can just put a lid on it and send it over to my parents house for them to use. Easy peasy right?!

Well, the best part is watching it in the microwave. I literally was like a little kid (no shame) watching it expand. I literally doing a little dance and calling Chris over to come watch it! You can microwave this from 90 second to 6 minutes. It really wont hurt it if you microwave it for 6 minutes, it just wont grow anymore. You will be able to tell when to stop it because it wont be growing anymore. I did mine for 90 seconds.

Now, I was going to make a video of it expanding in the microwave, but you couldn't see what was going on with the screen on the front of the microwave. :(

This is a really fun thing to do honestly! My nephew will love this! Any child would! Its a really neat thing to do with kids for sure!

Now you can still use this after its been microwaved, and in reality since its expanded, you have more of it and if you use it in the shower, you wont use as much and go through the bar as quickly! So a double plus there! Fun for the kids and economical! <3

You can use Ivory many different ways. You can scrape some off and use it as a laundry detergent. You can use it to wash your body, hands and even your FACE. It gives a simple yet effective clean to anything. I'm not too crazy about the scent though, it kind of gives me a headache. It can also be used as a spot remover, how cool is that?!

Ivory is also affordable, its one of the cheapest soaps per ounce on the market! So hello value right there!  You can purchase Ivory at any mass retailer and for a 10 pack of bath bars its only $4.49! HELLO! Why did I not think of doing this before?!

I definitely say you all should go and try this!  Bring out the inner child!

Review: Simple Eye Make-Up Remover

Hey everyone.
So this review is long coming and I mean literally. Granted I still have the bottle that I am showing in the pictures, but its almost gone!

So the Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Eyemakeup Remover is actually to date my favorite eyemakeup remover. When I say favorite, I mean it. I've tried a whole host of different drug store brand makeup removers and they all burned my eyes like a mother (Almay I am talking to you) or they just didn't take my makeup off completely like it should.

When I bought this bottle Simple was JUST popping into Targets all across the nation, so I was super excited and planned to have this review up MONTHS ago, but that never happened. :P I got this because my eyes have been sensitive as of late, which has become kind of annoying to me becasue I am not used to it. Now this is branded as the #1 skin care line in the UK, so I was even more intrigued to try it because of that. This has added vitamins (pro-vitamin B5), there is no oils, greasy residue, dyes, artificial perfumes or harsh irritants. It is also safe for contact lens users. Dertmatoligist and ophthalmologist tested. Hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic.

You get 4.2 fl oz (125 mL) which is a pretty big bottle. It retails for around $6.99. (prices may vary depending on your location) Now, I bought mine at Target but you can also purchase Simple at CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walmart, Kmart, Super Target, and many MANY other places. Those are just the retailers near me that stock it.

My experiance with this product has actually been very pleasent. There defintely are NO perfumes and it doesn't irritate my eyes. (they thank you for that) I find that it does take off all of my makeup, even waterproof mascara, and it leaves no residue. That is impressive to me that it takes off the waterproof mascara, not that I wear much of it, but sometimes a girl needs her lashes to look good for a long time. :P

My only problem with this is after I use it, my lids becomes sticky. Not because of oils, of a greasy reside, because there is none of that on my lids. Im not sure why they become sticky to be honest. Its not a bad thing, it just tends to get a little annoying when you blink and your eye lid sticks. Its not a huge issue with me, its more annoying than anything.

I really do recommend this eye makeup remover though. It might just be my oily lids that make it sticky, I don't know but this stuff really does work. I do plan on repurchasing it once this bottle runs out, or many even before I run out, because you don't want to get stranded when you are going to take your makeup off and have no makeup remover. :P

As you can tell, these are OLD pictures because they have my old wordpress link instead of just auttyw.com.

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

Have you ever had these?! Oh my goodness! These cookies are seriously amazing! I recieved one of these in my Influenster box, but I've had them before.

Now, normally I do not eat raisin's, I don't like them. Its a me thing, but these are AMAZING!!! You can't even tell that there are raisin's in them!

They are soft, chewy, extremely tasty, basically everything you would want in a cookie. .. Or well at least everything I love in a cookie. My nephew really loves them at well! Defintely a two thumbs up from him!
The one thing I really like about these is that they are individually packaged, so you don't have to worry about them going stale on you before you eat the box. Not that it will happen because they are that good! Haha. They are also a good source of fiber, who can't use a little extra fiber in their diet!

The best part of these is they are affordable! Only $2.69 for a box of 6! You can also buy them at most major retailers, which is convenient!

Shout Out Sunday: Christine

Hello everyone!
Its time again for Shout Out Sunday! Woo! *dances*

So this Sunday we are travelling all of the way across the world to Norway! Yes, Norway! There is a lovely blogger called Christine or Teeny89 on Twitter, she blogs about makeup, fashion and beauty. Let me just tell you, this girl has some major style for one! I'm not that big into Fashion because, I just am not, its a me thing, but this girl makes me wish I was more into fashion! She can pull off things I would never dream of being able to pull off. Like those Jeffrey Campbell Spiked Litas, I would walk once in them and knowing me, because the spikes are sharp, I would cut the crap out of my legs. Haha. But really, rock those bad boys girl!

[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="950"] This is the header from her blog. I in no way am using this for myself. If you click the picture, it will take you straight to her blog.[/caption]

Makeup wise, she picks out the most amazing things. There is a lovely mix or High end and drugstore, well just her taste all around is amazing. Not to mention, have you seen this girls eyes? Oh my goodness! They are such a beautiful color! Hoo-Hoo! She is all around beautiful, but her eyes are just stunning!

I definitely say that you all go and check her out!

In complete honesty, I love everything about her blog. I love the cute Hello Kitty that gives you the "peace sign" (that really is the cutest thing EVER), the top box that scrolls and shows previews of her posts that are direct links. Its just a really well rounded blog. Reviews, hauls, Outfit of the days and things like that.

I have talked to her a few times on Twitter and she is really sweet, down to earth And just very cool. Actually, when I first started doing my YouTube videos, her blog is one of the very first that's started reading. So I have been reading her blog for a couple years I believe. It's pretty cool!

I definitely suggest that you all go check her out!
