First time using a Mask & Hot Ticket

So, Today has been a completely AWESOME day for me. I will give a little backstory.

So, today I woke up early because my body just wanted me awake. I was not expecting much today except a package from UPS which that will be a blog post I type after this one! But, that is all I was expecting, except a detective to come over and talk to Chris. (Long story that I am not going to post here) When I went to check the mail I saw a metallic bubble package sitting in my mailbox. Which confused me because its from MyGlam, and I was not supposed to be getting my bag this month.

So, as I was not insanely excited about it I brought it upstairs and opened it. Inside was what was in Januarys bag. The Sheer Cover Concealer in Light/Medium which is absolutely PERFECT for me. the wen Sweet almond mint cleansing conditioner, The Balms Hot Ticket nail polish in Jade in the USA, and lastly Freemans Facial Peel Off Mask.

Well, if you know my absolutely obsession with nail polish, I painted my nails right away.

[slideshow]

Those are the pictures. It is a really pretty Jade shade. It goes on like it shows in the bottle, then it dries to a darker shade of Jade. Which is actually, still really pretty. I don't have anything like this at all in my collection, which makes me a happy Autty.

Then a couple hours later, after I filmed what Urban Decay sent me for winning their Twitter giveaway, I decided "hey what the hell, I have never used a mask before, wanted too but never have. Lets try this one now!" So I used the Freeman Peel-Off Mask Cucumber. You just smooth it on, avoiding the eye area, like all masks, and let it dry. 5-10 minutes later, you are ready to peel that bad boy off, then wash your face with warm water! And let me just say, for it being my first mask, I ABSOLUTELY love it! And kudos for it being a drugstore mask, so it wont bust my bank if I want to repurchase it! Which is pretty awesome to me!

That is just what the squeezy tube looks like! No, I didn't take a picture with the mask on my face. It dries clear, but it is shiny, plus, I didn't even think of it till I decided to type this post. Which by then, I had it already taken off.

So, I am going to use this mask a few more times and see how long the polish stays on my nails without chipping!

I hope you all enjoyed this post!

Review: Physcians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

Physcians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

First I just want to say, what the heck is up with such a long name?! Seriously.

Besides the very long product name, I also want to state that this item was part of a makeup swap with CookieFarrer.

What is it?

  • High-tech formula visibly enhances natural lash growth while providing the instant definition of a liquid eyeliner, in one easy step.

  • Lash boosting complex targets the root of lashes where it is most effective in providing nutrients associated with growing long, thick lashes

via Physicians Formula website

Now to the actual review. The color I have is Deep Brown. Yes, it is my first eyeliner from PF and I am extremely glad that it was this one! Now I honestly have not payed attention if it has helped my eyelashes. There is a different that I can tell, but I have no payed extreme attention to it.

This is a liquid eyeliner with a felt tip on it. You can make your lines as big or as thin as you would like. Which I absolutely love. Why? I have hooded eyes, so I do not have much of an eyelid that can be seen. SO, that means, I like a very thin line of liner, which I can create with this liner! I have started experimenting with a winged liner and this is perfect!

My only problem is that, when I do actually want to do winged liner, its kind of hard for me to do it, because it doesn't like to show over the eyeshadow that I have on. I think it may just be me though, because I have seen lots of other people do it easily, then again they have the black, but it shouldnt matter.

[slideshow]

I give this liner a 9 out of 10. I really love this liner. I love the control that I get, the pigmentation which is outstanding! It lasts all day on me.. or however long I wear makeup, which depending on the day of the week, can be up to 24+ hours! Crazy I know. Thats my job for ya! I really just love this liner.

I didn't give it a full 10 rating because of the price tag of this! Its $ . ! Which is, in my opinion a bit much for a liquid liner.

Review: ORLY Bonder Basecoat

Today for review we have Orly's Bonder. Which is a rubberized basecoat. You can purchase this anywhere Orly is sold. I however bought mine at CVS for around $6.99 for the .6 FL Oz (18 ML). However, from looking online, if you look around you can find it for $2.99 on ebay. or for the .3 FL OZ on orlybeauty.com for $5. Which is not bad.

Now from the picture, it does not look like I have use a lot, but actually, you dont need to use a lot and I have used this A LOT. Let me tell you I have used it a lot. I change my nail color every few days. Now, in all reality, the only reason I use a basecoat is so the polish does not stain my nails. Because if I were to use the basecoat for the purpose it was used for, all basecoats would fail miserable in my book. I have really thin and brittle nails. So no matter how much of anything I use, polish does not stay very long on me. I get excited when it lasts for days.

But for some people, this would be fantasic. I really do think that it is a fantasic basecoat, for what of the polish it helps manage to keep on. Ive used this on my Mom and it lasted ages on her. Because she has daggers for nails. (Well not literal daggers. She just has long and rock hard nails.)

I am not sure about the 2 week claim, because I can't keep my polish from chipping for more than 2-4 days, 4 if I am insanely lucky.
All in all, I will repurchase this basecoat again when it is time. :)

I can't give this a what out of 10 rating, It just wouldn't seem fair, since it basically works to just not stain my nails instead of making my polish last longer. Still love it though.! :D

Review : e.l.f Stipple Brush

Long time no review! This is actually the first review I am typing on Wordpress, that wasn't transferred over. :D

I am also typing in between coats of nail polish. =^_^= Multi-tasking haha.. I'll have to take a picture later and show, because they are pretty random and just... you would have to see to understand. Lol. Anyways, to what you all are here to read about!

Now, this was my first ever stipple brush. I couldn't really afford a good quality one, and since I never have had any trouble with the e.l.f. ones, I figured I would give it a go! You know I was insanely excited when I saw that e.l.f was making them and I actually got mine out of the second batch that they made and had for sale on their website.

This is $3 on the www.eyeslipsface.com website. You can also find it for the same price at Target and Kmart. And if you are lucky you can also find this at Big Lots.

[slideshow]

So from the 3 whopping pictures that I managed to get, because my camera's have gone wonky and I tried to get the best ones that I could get. You can tell that it is a pretty decent sized brush. Mine is a bit dirty on the handle, but from use, it should be dirty.

Now, from the front shot of the bristles, you can tell that it is not nearly as dense as I would like it to be. I have tried using this with my liquid foundation, but not matter how I try to work with it, it just does not work. I still look streaky in some areas and cakey in others. So for foundation, I say No Bueno. I wish you could see, but quite a lot of the bristles on the outside have actually broken in half and have been shedding. So that's not good either. Although I have not experienced a lot of shedding, there still is some.

What I do find myself using this brush for, is either applying a powder to my face after applying my liquid foundation, or I use it like a fan brush and just sweep the extra powder off of my face.

For this brush I would give it a 6 out of 10. Why a 6? Well, I think its a good brush, but not for liquid foundation. Maybe if it were a little more dense, then it would work pretty fantastically. But for applying a light application of a finishing powder, blush, or bronzer, this would work pretty swell.

I would have given it a higher rating, but I think I gave it a pretty generous rating. Would I purchase this again? Maybe, but doubtful. Although I love elf and most of my brushes.. well almost all of them are elf, I think that you could find a better quality stipple brush than this one.

I hope you enjoyed me review! Have you used this product before? Let me know down in the comments what your opinion is!

New blog!

As you can tell! I have a new blog. Why did I decide to transfer my beauty blog over to WordPress? I am not exactly sure. When I was editing the Beauty Warriors blog earlier this month, I really like the layout and all that jazzy stuff of WordPress and I thought about changing over, but was not sure if I was going to do it or not. Well! Here I am =^_^=! I am still going to keep my personal Blogger blog, but I want my beauty one here. Who knows, maybe I will completely switch from Blogger. Who knows.

But this is the new location of my Beauty blog! Woot woot!

I hope you all understand, I just kind of didn't like the layout and ways of editing Blogger. This is just more easy, and you can customize it more. :)

Makeup!? :O

I couldn't think of a good title for this post, its on the tip of my tongue, but I can't think of it hah. Go figures.

Anyways so the topic of this blog is basically what are the kind of general areas of make-up (eyeshadow, mascara, etc) are you obsessed about and just can't get enough of?

I have two. Mascara and Eyeshadow.

I know, its kinda weird, I have a shameful amount of eyeshadow, but I really use the majority of it. So its not like its going to waste!

Now the Mascara. I don't open more than one at a time, I have before and they went bad after like 2 uses because I liked one more than the other. Huge waste of money. Lol. So, now I am in a dilemma of what mascara I want to use.. I have quite a few new ones, that I have sitting in a drawer, that I have respectively named my mascara draw, thats all thats going to go in it. :D

But, I unno, don't know which one I want to use.

Do you have any obsessions of makeup that you just can't get enough of?

Ive got all types of eyeshadow. Pressed, Pigment, Cream, Long wear, Uh Wet to dry, mineral. I mean I have pretty much all kinds. I really just can't get enough of it really. I <3 me some eyeshadow.

Im super excited to get together with Stephanie, which we have to do very soon! Because I am starting to collect a lot of stuff for her. ... Like a lot. =D muhaha

So what makeup category are you obsessed about?

Let me know!1

Fantasy Makers Glitter Liner

Ah.

So the infamous Fantasy Makers line, that is only around... around Halloween. Lol. I wasn't sure how to word that one.

If you have never heard of Fantasy Makers, its a branch of Wet N Wild. Its just their Halloween line of makeup.

Now, the reason I bought this was because I wanted a good opaque glitter liner. I guess because its from the makers of Wet N Wild, I have high expectations.

Without Flash

With Flash

These are the swatches that I did for it, yes on a piece of paper. Regardless, how it looks on paper, is how it looks on skin. I just couldn't get a decent picture of it on my hand.

As you can tell, it is glittery, but its also not as opaque as it looks in the tube.

A little blurry, but you get the point.

I like this liner, but I am not too overly thrilled with it. I probably wouldn't repurchase it again given the chance.

I got this at Kmart for about $2.99 I believe.

Have you ever tried anything from the Fantasy Makers line?

Drawings on paper with eyeliner later!

Milani Infinite Liquid Liner

So! The Milani Infinite Liquid Liner!

The color I have is Eternal... Is it only me, but when I think of Eternal, I don't think a lime green. May just be a me thing. Haha.

So, this is a 24 hour liquid liner. Its acutally kind of like a creme liner. Except its a bit more liquidy then a creme. So, its like two products in one. Haha.

But this liner, when it says its a waterproof liner with up to 24 hours of wear time. It makes you a bit skeptical.

I was, which was kind of the reasons I bought it. The other reason was, I was going to a Concert and was going to be outside all bloody day, sweating and jamming out to some awesome music! And I wanted a pop of color, so I didn't feel so makeup naked.

Well, let me just say, through all of the sweat of that day, then going instantly to work, this liner is AH-MAZING. Its waterproof and I got a good 36 hours out of it, before I even took it off! Its crazy.

I mean, I swatched it one night and smeared it around before it had completely set, then even took some nail polish remover to see if it would touch it and NOPE still looks the same. So that is pretty amazing.

I absolutely love the color of this one! I would love to get the other colors as well.

Oh! I should also mention, it does have glitter in it. But it is so fine that its not even funny. You don't really notice it, unless you really look at it.

All in all, I have no negatives to say about this liner, I absolutely love it!

You can buy it anywhere that Milani is sold. I got mine for $6.49 at CVS.

the brush

Swatches!

On the left is where I swatched it, rubbed it around, washed my hands a few times, and rubbed some nail polish remover over it. The one on the right, is just an undisturbed swatch.

Have you tried this liner? What do you think of it?

Lime green liner love!

Avon Neutral Tones Palette

To go along with the video review I made, I am writing this post to show pictures, and give more of an opinion.

I will link the video down under all of what I have to say :), in case you have not seen it yet!

You can get this from an Avon representative or from Avon.com.

It retails for $12.00

I bought this when I was actually selling Avon, for the short time that I did sell it, that is.

Anyhoo, off topic.

Now, I didn't take any pictures of the shadows swatched. Why? You may ask.

.. Well, it was a bear just trying to take a picture of this palette, and trying to get any decent swatches was even harder! To the point, that I just have up trying to take pictures of the swatches.

Shame really.

back of the palette

Back of the palette

Without Flash

With Flash

Now. Onto some pros and cons of this palette.

Pros

1. You get a nice rang of neutral shades.

2. You get a decent amount of shadow.

3. You can't go wrong. 8 Shadows for $12.

4. Pigmented

Now onto

Cons

1. There are NO matte shades.

2. While they are soft, they are also REALLY chalky.

3. You get quite a bit of fallout also, especially from the glitter.

4. Unfortunately, with me, quite a few of the shades have that kind of orange-yellowish tone too them, and it makes me look like I have not slept in days. No matter how little or how much I pack on the color.

5. There is no balance between cool or warm toned neutrals.

There is kind of a balance of Pros and Cons. With there only being 1 more Con, but in reality, I probably wont get much use out of this palette at all honestly. As much as I tried working with it, I just gave up. All of the colors have pretty much a brown undertone to them all.

All in all. Would I buy this again?

No.

Would I buy this for someone?

No, I don't dislike anyone enough to do that to them.

I hope you enjoyed my video review and my blog review!

Let me know what you think of this palette!

Have you tried it? Let me know what you think!!

Beautiful neutral hugs later!

My First Ever Tutorial!

Eek!

So I filmed my first every makeup tutorial!

In the second one though, I kept putting my glasses on to see!

How embarrassing! I think I need to get another mirror to do more tutorials. That way I can see better!

But I had so much fun doing this!! Eek. So I definitely plan on doing more,

I should have taken better pictures though! >(

But onto the deets!

This is basically just a metallic silver and grey look. This just happens to be a eye shadow look that I wear quite a bit.

Urban Decay On HauteLook!

So, I decided that since I have the time I am just going to work on my post for what I purchased on www.Hautelook.com . ^_^

So, one day I was just hanging around on facebook and saw an update from hautelook saying that they were having Urban Decay again and I seriously got so excited! No lie, so I had to wait about 4 days for it to be available, and boy at 12pm my time (8am their time), when the sale started I was on looking and BOY was I surprised! So, long story short, I got 7 things.

5 eyeshadows, one cream eyeliner and one of their adorable pocket rockets.

There are going to be ton of pictures because I thought one picture didn't do it justice and I wanted everyone to see kinda every-ish angle. Lol. I used to go on Urban Decays website ( www.urbandecay.com ) and dream about the products that I wanted. (lol) So, im sure you can feel my excitement.

SO!

I got 4 of their Matte eyeshadows. Which are $17.00 each. BUT on Hautelook I only paid $5.00 for! I died a little with excitement!

I got Chronic, Cult, Narcotic, and Shakedown.

So there are the pictures. They may not come up completely true to color but I tried!

Now I did swatch these and they are beautiful! On their website they say that the matte eyeshadows are incredibly silky, and they did not lie! Seriously, they are so soft and I can't even describe it! They aren't chalky though. They seem very bendable to me but like I said I haven't played around with them. OH! They are also very pigmented! eee!

Chronic is a bright light green and oh boy is it. It really is a beautiful color!

                          Narcotic is a bright turquoise.

                         Cult is an eggplant color.

                         Shakedown is a taupe color.

Now, I got one other eyeshadow like I said (5 total) and it isnt a matte eyeshadow. Obviously or it would have been stated above XD.

The last lovely eyeshadow I have is called Gash, obviously XD.

Gash is a deep brick red.

Now, this color does have sparkles in it, but it is extremely beautiful! I don't discriminate against sparkly eyeshadows, I actually love them! This eyeshadow is also very soft, not as silky as the matte ones but it is still soft none the less (?)

Any-gobbles.

This eyeshadow is also $17.00 and I got it also for $5.00. I honestly think thats an amazing deal considering it is Urban Decay! Don't you think!? Lol.

NOW! Onto the last two items on my Urban Decay Agenda! Lol.

The next item is the Ink For Eyes cream eyeliner in Pyrotechnics. This item sells for $22.00! I only got it for $6.50! Whattt!! Yeah $6.50 baby! Lol.

This is what it looks like ...

(I didn't switch the pictures around I'm sorry!)

This eyeliner has a clear base with iridescent glitter, so if your wanted stand out eyeliner than this is not for you because all you get is the glitter. ^_^ I however love this! Seriously, its really cute, especially the packaging! Bah, I also love the brush. I didn't get a separate picture of it because I didn't think about it. Its a duel-ended brush it has your typical angled eyeliner brush, but the other end has a smudge brush...thing. I've honestly never used one but it says "Create razor-sharp lines, or smudgy, bedroom eyes." :O. Lol.

Anyways, overall I am excited to try this product out!

Now, the last product is a Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss. It retails for $19.00, I got it for $6.50. Not bad, not bad. This is the quote from the website itself. "Undress our men with a flick of your wrist. Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss combines two of our favorite things: naked dudes, and gorgeous lip color." I thought that was so clever! Now My pocket rocket is Jesse. It is described as Blackberry with a warm sparkle.

Now I just want to point out, the color it looks in the tube isnt the color it is. The color looks more like a coppery color, but when you use it, or at least take the brush out, thats when you get the blackberry color! Just a little warning. ^_^ I had the option of getting Julio which is just a clear lipgloss with sparkle, and I didn't think I needed a clear one, but now I am kicking myself in the butt for not getting it! Lol.

Anyways, here is what it looks like!

I very like the fact that it is a brush applicator and not a doe foot one. I don't mind the doe foot applicator but I like the brush ones at the same time!

Oh and the top does say "rub me" which on the back of the tube it says "rub me for you pheromone fix" Not sure if that works, but hey, try it if you want ^_^ Lol. I did and I don't think I felt any different.

ANYWAYS! So there is my little haul from Hautelook! I might do a review of each of the products separately, here or on my youtube, I haven't quite decided yet since I haven't even played with them XD lol

[slideshow]

And remember! You are beautiful no matter what shape or size you are!

Be happy and healthy everyone!

L'Oreal Studio Secrets Anti-Redness Primer

So, there is the lovely product in all of its glory. Sorry for the mess on the desk behind it though!

Anyways, so I bought this product with high hopes for coving up my red areas. Well, It didn't really cover up any of the red spots on my face at all. So, I was kinda disappointed at that aspect considering I think I spent $12 or $13 for it. :(

Well, since today is Easter, I decided that I wanted to try and use it again since it has just been sitting in my makeup drawer. So, I put it on and was like ...eh its still nothing great! Well, come to find out, the reason my face looked really weird and kinda gross is because there is GLITTER in the primer!!! Seriously, I never noticed that there was glitter in this product! It made my face not only look cakey but really kinda like I put 6 layers or more foundation on my face. It was kinda gross and I kinda got upset. Because I had to take all of the makeup off that I had JUST put on, just to get the primer off so I could get the glitter off my face. So that was a little agitating. When I had put my foundation back on without the primer it looked pretty awesome, so I do know that it was because of the primer.

The reason I was so upset about the glitter and it making my face look weird was because of the fact that I have really oily skin and I didn't want the glitter to enhance it.

In my personal opinion I wouldn't buy this product again, just because I don't like the way it makes my face look when I have it on, its way too cakey looking, even if I have a very thin layer of foundation.

Now, this may work completely different on you than it does my skin, it could just be a my skin kinda thing, but I really don't think I would buy this product again.

Review : 3 Facial Cleansers

Hello all! So I am here watching a movie, listening to the thunder and decided that since I am not going to get to do a video about it soon that I mine as well just do a blog post about these 3 face Cleansers! I did have a fourth, but its not entirely empty, I kinda just mixed that one and two others together and use it that way! So, I will do a review about that one later. SO! Onto the reviews!

The first facial Cleanser that I want to review is the Olay blackhead clearing scrub. This is an Oil-Free Cleanser and it says on the front of the container "salicylic acid acne treatment controls blackheads".

The first facial Cleanser that I want to review is the Olay blackhead clearing scrub.

This is an Oil-Free Cleanser and it says on the front of the container "salicylic acid acne treatment controls blackheads" .

On the back of the container it says "Salicylic acid acne treatment exfoliates and deep cleans to the pore to re move excess oil and eliminate most blackheads. Renews surface skin and helps to prevent new blackheads from forming. Contains a salicylic acid formula to control blemishes.Non-Comedogenic, Oil-Free. This cleanser is gel like and has little blue scrubbing beads, to obviously scrub your face and to help control your blackheads. I just want to say that I love this cleanser. Since I was little, my face has been riddled with blackheads on my nose, chin and cheeks. When I use this, I can see a reduction in the look of my blackheads, but it doesn't get rid of them. Then again you can not expect a product to work instantaneously with amazing results, you have to give it time. I bought this at Walmart for $4 when they were doing a huge sale on Olay products. The smell to me is a really nice smell. I honestly can not describe it but I absolutely love the smell. If I didn't want to use all of the other facial cleansers that I have on my Beauty shelf, I would buy this again, but I most definitely WILL buy this product again when I get the chance, just because I love it that much! ^_^

The second facial cleanser is the Biore steam activated cleanser.

I will be honest, this is my second bottle of this cleanser. I love the smell of it and I also love that is has a pump instead of having to worry about opening it and spilling any of the product or other things. I love the smell of it. I'm not even going to attempt to describe it because I am horrid at describing how something smells! Now, this product says that you use it in a steamy shower, but I find that whether its steamy or not, this product works. Oh! This is also oil free! So cha. The cleanser has a gel like consistency and it has little green beads that burst when you rub the cleanser on your face, that helps you get a deeper clean. This product is oil free, non comedogenic, sulfate free, dermatologist tested and hypo allergenic. All of those things are bonuses for me because I am allergic to everything (lol.. literally) Well, almost everything honestly, I am allergic to everything outside. I should live in one of those awesome bubbles <3 XD Like I said I typically used this cleanser without steam and it worked just as well as when I used it with a steamy shower. I bought this at CVS for about $6 I believe. I'm not sure of how much it is now, but I do know that I am having a hard time finding it anywhere. My first bottle I was so excited about and then it took me two months after I had finished using it to find another bottle. Which was a little depressing to me because I had absolutely loved the cleanser, but I think I moved on from it. Now I will buy this again, when the time arises and if I can find it.

(sorry about the faded print and stuff, It got wet from being in the shower)

The last Cleanser I have for you all today is from LUSH. Its their Dark Angels Cleanser. This product expired back in May, but I have been saving it to do a video review on it, but honestly just have no had the ambition to do it, so I am blog reviewing it! I bought this for $12.01, which I didn't think was such a bad price, I guess considering they hand make it and its basically natural. Now mind you this product is for oily skin and you only need a small amount of it every time you use it. So naturally I was disappointed at the fact that it expired and I still had half a container left, even when I used large amounts of product. This is what the site says about it "Dark and tough, this one doesn't mess about. It's a black, squidgy scrub made with charcoal to absorb oils and exfoliate your skin. Nutritious avocado oil softens, glycerin keeps the moisture in and black sugar scrubs away. Dark Angels is a hardcore cleanser with a little bit of surfactant mixed in to remove dirt and grease.I do completely agree with the site. I felt that it did absorb the oils in my face and my skin felt amazingly soft and just radiant after I used! I absolutely loved it! I just wish that I could have used it all honestly. I'm not exactly sure if I will purchase this product again, only because I had to drive about an hour and a half just to get to the mall where the store was. So that was kinda a turn off for me. I may order off of the website the next time I get a little extra money because I have been wanting to use a few of their other products ^_^. Okay, went off topic, but thats really all I can say about it. I love the way it feels on my skin, its smells really good, I wish I could have used all of the products before it went bad ^_^.

Disclaimer: I bought all of these products with my OWN money. None were sent to me, no sponsors or any of that junk. ^_^

I hope you all enjoyed!
