Sinful Colors Savage - Review

Hello Loves!

This is the first blog post/review in my Sinful Colors series!

Savage is a matte teal nail polish.

In the pictures down below I used two coats of polish. However, you could definitely get away with only using one! It is THAT opaque!

I absolutely love this nail polish! It is so lovely! There is one big downfall about it unfortunately! :(

It stains!

I don't mean it just stains the nail beds, it stains everything! You have to be really careful when removing it or as you rub, it goes all over the skin. it takes forever for it to finally fade if you do happen to get it on the skin around your nails.

This polish has a pretty good dry time. For me it was dry within 60 to 90 seconds. Since it it matte, you can pretty much tell when it is dry by how matte it looks. Which I like.

This polish retails for $1.99, but Walgreens does sales where you can get Sinful Colors polishes for $0.99 which is the best time to get them in my opinion!  They are a definite steal even at $1.99 and I think they are totally worth the price!

I hope you all love this blog post! Watch out for more to come!

Do you have this nail polish? What are your opinions of it!? I would love to know!

Disclaimer: I am not being paid or sponsored to do this blog post. I paid for the above mentioned product(s) with my own money.

13 Questions Tag

Hello lovelies!

I saw Nouveau Cheap do/create this tag and I figured I would break up the "norm" and do it!

So, here we go!
1. What's one thing that most people don't know about you?

I am left handed and my natural hair color is blonde.

2. What's your favorite quote?

"Love Lives Forever." - Michael Jackson

&

Don't regret anything you do. In the end it makes you who you are.

3. What's one food that you can't live without?

Oh lord. Probably a good salad. Yum!

4. What's your song of the week?

Baha. This is courtesy of my friend Josh.

Blood - In This Moment.

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZF5m-vmDzM?rel=0&w=560&h=315]

6. Can you change the oil on a car?

I can put oil in the car, but as for changing it. Honestly, I have never tried. I am sure if I was shown I could do it with no problem. :)

7. Favorite kind of sandwich?

Hm. I don't make a specific kid of sandwich, but if I were to go to Subway for instance without fail I ALWAYS get the Oven Roasted Chicken Breast on Italian Herb and cheese bread with pickles, lettuce, spinach, ranch and hot sauce.

Yup :P

8. Can you knit or crochet?

I can crochet, not that well mind you, but I have the basics! I have mad respect for those who can knit ad crochet. They make it look so easy

9. How many languages can you speak?

Other than English and my own? LoL. I can speak bits and pieces of a lot of different languages. I took Spanish since I was in middle school, so you would think that I would know it fluently, but I don't. Bah. I know enough of it however. I also speak bits and pieces of German as well. :)

10. Be honest: do you ever forget your reusable shopping bags when you go to the grocery store?
EVERY freaking time! Its almost annoying that I forget them.

11. Favorite type of pie?

Pumpkin! Don't come between this girl and her Pumpkin pie. It could get ugly.

12. What do you wear to bed?

It really depends. I could wear a pair of pajama shorts or my pajama capri's or pants. It just depends on the weather. I also just throw on a random shirt.

13. Ever been in love?

I have been in what I thought was love, but it was just puppy love then. So, I have only been in love once and I live with the knob. :P Bahah

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I loved answering the questions!I say if you have a blog you are tagged to do it!

Mario Badescu Silver Powder - Review

Hello Lovelies!

This review is a loooooooong time coming. Literally, I meant to do this so long ago honestly, it just got put on the back burner.

I had never heard of this product until I was wandering around the skincare section of Ulta. I figured that I would give it a try. I mean, what could I lose right? It's not like it was going to burn my face off. Or was it?!
Dun Dun Dunnnnnn!

I am only kidding! Nothing burned off of my face, it is still there 100% :P

This product retails for $12 for one ounce (1 oz.) of product. Which is actually a lot of product considering you do NOT need a lot when using. This is made for those bloody stubborn and excessive black heads. Let me tell you, MINE are bloody excessive and a pain in my butt to get rid of! They are on my nose and chin mainly, but I do have some on my cheeks and forehead. *sigh*

When I use this, I honestly use it like a mask, all over my face. You use this once or twice a week, waiting 10 minutes with it sitting on your face and removing it. Now, it says to remove it with a toner or an astringent. Honestly though it is a (excuse my language)
bitch to remove using a toner or astringent. I had to use WAY too much of my toner to try and remove this and it barely took any off. I recommend washing your face to remove this then apply your toner or astringent to your face. When I was using the toner to take it off, I was using to much that it started drying my skin out, which is a big no-no to me. (and probably you)

Seriously though. That is the ONLY way to get it off without wasting your toner or astringent. Do I feel that it works differently when taken off with water? Neh, still works the same in my opinion! When I first used this, I only applied to my cheeks and my nose and it was still way too hard to remove. I had use at least a half of an inch out of my brand new bottle of toner. It doesn't seem like a lot, but trust me, it was.

I do love this product though! I noticed results the FIRST time I used this! I could feel it working as it dried for the 10 minutes. It was funny feeling, but you could really feel it working deep in your pores. It does leave a little bit of residue in your pores, even after cleansing and toning. It is not a lot by far and after a minute or two you don't notice it anymore.

The texture of this is powdery at first. When you take your damp cotton ball and dip it into the powder it turns it kind of into a paste type consistency. However, as it starts to dry, depending on how thick you apply this, it starts to go powdery again. Even if it is not a thick layer it goes powdery. When it does that be careful! Bahaha

The only ingredients in this is Calcium Carbonate, Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide.

I do want to put a caution out there!

If you are using this near your nostrils, be careful! I have in hailed some of this before and it was the most annoying feeling ever. Think of accidentally getting flour or something up your nose. It kind of shocks you at first then you choke a little bit. So be aware of that and just be careful!!

I really recommend this powder though! It works nicely, even though its a bleep to remove if you are using a toner or astringent. If you do plan on taking it off with that method, please don't use an "expensive" one. That way you don't basically waste your toner.

In the picture where I have the Silver Powder all over my face, I forgot to take an after picture. D: Sorry!

You can also purchase this in an Ulta store. ONLY in the store NOT online.

MicroDerma Mitt - Face - Review

I got this in one of my Birchboxes back when I was actually getting them. This retails for $28.50, which you could see was well worth the $10 I payed for the box. You can purchase this online at microdermamitt.com

This is an exfoliating face mitt that helps life and remove dead skin cells. It is fantastic for sensitive skin care! Heck you don't even have to use a face wash with it! You can use plain water if need be! Depending on my mood, that is all I use sometimes is a little bit of water and it works just the same!

The mitt itself is a thin piece of fabric that kind of feels like superfine sandpaper. It is not rough at all, but you can feel it exfoliating.  It also has a green elastic band that you can hang it from so it dries. You put your hand inside of the mitt (its double sided) and you GENTLY rub it on your face in small circular motions. Don't be rough when doing this, then again never be rough when exfoliating. When you rinse your face off (to get the dead skin cells off duh), your face will feel absolutely amazing and smooth! Heck knows mine does when I use this!

[slideshow]

I really like the concept of this product and it is very travel friendly since it doesn't take up and space AT ALL. Honestly though, it is quite a bit pricey at $28.50 a pop. Shoo, that is honestly a little bit more than I am willing to pay for an exfoliating mitt. Okay.. its way more then I would pay actually, but you get the point. I really think that if this was quite a bit cheaper I would purchase a few more of them. Currently however, I just can't. It is a bit outrageous. I do love this product but I do NOT love the price of it.

Other than the price, I think that this product is fantastic.

I suggest checking them out on their website microdermamitt.com

Sinful Colors - Upcoming Series!

Hellurrrr!

I know I haven't been able to stick to a "series" lately, I just keep getting overwhelmed by trying to do too much. Its shameful lol. I have a new system of blogging though, but that is a different post!

Yes, I do know what has been going on with the whole Revlon (revlon now owns SC), stealing a couple of bloggers pictures and what not. I'm not going to go over the story, you can google it. :)

While I do NOT agree with what Revlon did, honestly I am not going to pretend that this company fell off of the face of the Earth. No, but Autumn, what about... *interrupts* No. No but Autumn anything. This is my blog, I huhshall speak of what I want too. :)

Any bloody hoo.

I do enjoy Sinful Colors nail polishes. They are affordable and have a huge range of shades and finishes.

I do not own many of their polishes, for I am trying to cut down on buying nail polishes. *cries* Chris' decision NOT mine. .. mean guy huh!? :P not really haha he just doesn't understand. Hmph.

Anyways. Be on the look out for the upcoming posts! They are going to be EVERY Monday!

Blogger Spotlight - SimplyBeautyLucy

One of the main things that I love about Lucy's blog is that in one of her most recent posts ,  she states that she is more of a high end girl but she loves a good bargain. I LOVE that about her! Some people who only shop high end, only do that or vice versa. I love that she likes both high end drugstore or "high street" as it is called over in the UK.

That right there speaks volumes to me. Why? its not at all how much expensive makeup you put on your face! I really feel that Lucy understands that! I love when bloggers do things like that honestly, use high end and drugstore. Not for any particular reason though. I also love that she lives in the UK. I am not sure why, but I love following bloggers that are not from the states. Seems a bit odd huh? Bah.

I don't remember how I found her blog honestly. I think it was when I sent out a tweet with the #bbloggers hash tag and she responded. (Speaking of which, is that hash tag only for the UK?! I only ever see blogs from the UK on it. Hm) Anyhoo. Lucy herself is freaking adorable! I envy her hair. Bahaha. She also has a horse named Cazzie. SO BLOODY CUTE. I love horses, but my allergies not so much.

There is just something about her that I love. She just seems very genuine and there is something else that I simply can not put my dang finger on! Hm, Oh well! She doesn't just blog about beauty. She blogs about lifestyle and other such things.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="371"] This picture is from her Google+ account. I do not own this picture. The picture will link you to her Google+[/caption]

I definitely suggest that you go and check her out!

You can find her on her

BzzAgent - Glade Expressions

Right off of the bat I want to say that I got this item for FREE. I received coupons from BzzAgent (pronounced Buzz) to get this product. I am not being paid or sponsored by BzzAgent or Glade to do this post. All opinions are my own and do not reflect BzzAgent or Glade themselves.

I have never tried anything from the Glade Expressions line before. I have seen them popping up in stores, but have never tried them. I typically am more of a Febreeze kind of girl. I am not kicking my self in the tush for not purchasing them before BzzAgent! These are seriously amazing!

For me however finding the oil diffuser was extremely difficult. I had to drive around to a few stores just to find it. Chris and I actually almost gave up! The fragrance spray was not hard at all to find! The scent I got (in both) was Pineapple Mangosteen. That is the only scent any of the stores around me had, which is okay with me! This scent is amazing. It kind of reminds me of a pina colada. It is a sweet scent, so if you are not fond of those types of scents, I would stay away from the Pineapple Mangosteen.  I am not sure what a mangosteen smells like, but the pineapple in this is VERY distinctive. It is really the only scent I could pick out of it. A sweet smelling pineapple. (yummy!)

I do not find these overpowering at all, the scent is strong enough to where you can smell it when you walk into the room.. or in my case when you walk into the apartment you can smell it! even though it is at the opposite end of the apartment from the door! Baha, I love it though! I have had other oil diffusers that you could NOT smell unless you were right up ontop of it. So, I am very appreciative that this actually "diffuses" the scent into the air where you can smell it.

As for the packaging, these were the starter kits. What do I mean by that?! Well! These bad boys are REFILLABLE! That is something I bloody like.

[slideshow]

As you can see from the slideshow, the oil diffuser (the bamboo one) is very cute! I keep this on the far end of our kitchen table. Why so far? That way the scent has farther to go and can go all over the living room and apartment.

Now this review does not come lightly, if you see in the second picture (the inset taken out) the oil is almost gone, meaning I have tested this for almost a month! Yes, one of these bad boys lasts for up to 30 days. I wanted to wait and do my review that way I could test it and review it appropriately. I really do recommend these! The price is absolutely FANTASTIC!

From what I could tell in my area (the price differs per area) the prices were around $2.68 for the Spray and $6.68 for the oil diffuser.

Now, the reason I have not talked about the spray much is because it is basically the same as the diffuser, except it is in spray form. I love the design of the container. You just give it a squeeze and bam, it sprays. I love that it doesn't have a visible trigger to it. That is one thing I am not fond about with the febreeze. This I do not see breaking easily unless you are unnecessarily rough with it! The spray was also a "starter kit" the bottom unscrews and you give it a bit of a shake and the inner tube pops out and you can just pop a new canister in! I love the design of these. Glade really hit a good spot! Kudos!

<img src="https://img.bzzagent.com/image/gladeExpressions.jpg?Type=activity&Activity=9365102339&Campaign=5855213675&Uid=1352672&token=3958581a9022426d2d62f1c21120a805" alt=""/>

Have you tried these before?  I am considering picking up a few more starter kits and doing a giveaway with them. Would you like to see something like that?

Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Total Care - Review

I do want to state right off of the get go that I DID receive this product for FREE from the lovely people at Clear Haircare and Shespeaks. I am not being paid or sponsored to do this review.

Onto the stuff I am sure that you really want to know about! The "Total Care" portion of their line nourishes your scalp or strong and beautiful hair. Actually all of their products nourish your scalp. The shampoo and conditioner each have 10 vitamins and nutrients. They also have other shampoos and conditioners and even a line for men, but that is another post. These are NOT sulfate free. So, if that is the only type of shampoo you can or you do use, then these are not for you. Unfortunately because they are amazing!

Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about this product. I have heard a lot of mixed views on these, which made my views mixed. I wasn't going to totally rule the products out though, till I got to try them! I am so thankful I was able to try them through Shespeaks. (links at the end) To my surprise I am so happy with them! I noticed a difference in my hair the first time I used them! I've been testing this for about a month or so and I can tell you that I totally back this shampoo and conditioner!

It leaves my hair feeling soft and luxurious. I wish I had a picture of before and after, but I don't. :( It didn't occur to me to take a picture. Bah. Blogger fail.  I really can not express how pleased I am with these! I have dermatitis, which is a scalp conditioner and this doesn't make it flare up and I barely have ANY flakes at all! I am so amazed that this did amazing things for my hair! My dandruff shampoo didn't even do what this does, and its not even a dandruff shampoo! Haha

My scalp feels so nourished, and it doesn't get as greasy as it normally would to where I can't stand it. My hair doesn't even get greasy at all actually, maybe after 4 days of not washing my hair, but that is 4 days. Haha. The thing that made me honestly skeptical about this product, was that you massage the conditioner into your scalp. I've never done that because I was always told that is make your hair look greasy from the start. But not this! I should go tell my Uncle that! Bah. I remember when I was in 9th grade, he made me wash my hair 3 times because I had put conditioner on my scalp and he told me my hair looked unclean and that he could see that I had put conditioner on my scalp. Hmph, shows what he knows. Haha (I still love my uncle though!)

Another thing that I really noticed with this is that my hair is not falling out (shedding) or breaking as much as it used too. Granted if I don't wash my hair every other day, it gets horrid and falls out even more. I will deal with it I guess, just shedding like a cat. (meow) I mean really though, this shampoo and conditioner is absolutely amazing. I am going to go repurchase it when I start to run out!

You can purchase this at any drugstore or mass merchandise retail store. (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) This retails for between $4.98 and $6.99 a bottle, but I really think that its worth it. There is also a line for men, that I am going to purchase for Chris because I can't stand the shampoo he uses now. :P

Don't forget to check out SheSpeaks! It is an amazing website for women where you can review products, write blogs and chat with other lovely women!

UD spilled eyeliner UPDATE

Hello everyone!

If you saw my last FOTD  , at the end of the post I had shown pictures and talked about how my new 24/7 liquid liner and spilled everywhere and all over myself and my clothing. The stopper popped off and went flying.

Well, I got an email back from one of their CS reps (this was last week) and even though I had provided pictures, I would have to use my own money to send back the eyeliner and my proof of purchase (which I couldn't find) and they would decide if it indeed was a product fault and if it was indeed a product problem, they would send me a new one. If it wasnt, I would be out what I payed for the eyeliner + what I payed to ship it to them.

The woman who emailed be back, was absolutely rude about it honestly. I kindly replied back that I couldn't find my receipt. Since I needed my receipt to PROVE that I payed for the product (wtf like I stole it *scoffs*. bloody really!?) I will just use what is left of my eyeliner. I can scrape enough product for at least a couple of more uses. Basically I just wasted my money on the eyeliner, considering basically the ENTIRE container fell all over my legs and clothes. It took me 2.5 days to completely get the eyeliner OFF of my legs and hands by the way and I am still working on getting it out of my jacket.

After the completely *excuse the language* bitchy email I received I have decided to look for a new eyeliner. This is the first bad experience I have ever had from Urban Decay, but its enough to make me want to stay away from them for a while. I don't plan on purchasing anything for quite a while. (I am doing a one person boycott LOL)

I also had tweeted Urban Decay on their twitter and have yet to receive a response from it. Yes, I understand they get a lot of tweets, but considering what it was about you would think they would respond. Hm?

Anyways that is just my update. Bitchy email, nothing being done about it, looking for a new eyeliner.

Oh, after I replied saying I couldn't find my receipt, I've yet to receive a response and I had replied on the 12th of this month. I am not "tarnishing" their companies name. I am just stating that I am kind of pissed that I wasted a considerable amount of money on this eyeliner that I can't use because the stopper popped off and went down my damn legs.

I mean, any logical person would NOT dump their eyeliner down their legs just to get a "free" one. That would be absolutely stupid. Common sense.

I am not expecting anything to be done via this blog post. I am just updating from my FOTD blog post because I said I would. I am not telling you to stop buying from them. Go and do it! Their products are AMAZING! I personally want their Vice Palette that just came out, even though I can't afford it. Figures right. Bah. Just personally for me, I don't plan on purchasing from them for a while.

:)

MyGlam Now Called Ipsy?

You may be wondering. AUT WHAT THE HECK IS IPSY?! Is it another subscription service?!

No, MyGlam changed their name. Am I liking the name? I think its a cute name. Goodness knows it is unique.

Eh, I just think its a bit weird that they changed their name. Although I think they have a good reason to do so, its just... well a bit odd in my opinion.

I hope they are not thinking that by changing their name, all of MyGlams bad press is going to leave them. I really don't think it will, in fact I think it might cause a bit of an uproar when people see. I can already see by going to the facebook page people aren't liking the change. People never like change.

I love change. I am excited for "Ipsy" and I can't wait to see what they have coming!

Does anybody remember who their ambassadors were? I know Zadidoll but, I heard everyone else pulled out?  Correct me if I am wrong. :)

I do like their tagline. ...Beauty by you. I REALLY love that. They also have a section where you can do challenges. They have one going on currently.

You can find that HERE

The one thing I don't like is being called an "Ipster" I shall stick with "Glammie" . Better suiting choice in my opinion.

So far I really am liking their website, its cute. Its something that you are going to need to get used too because there are a lot of elements to it! I think it is very user friendly if you actually try.

All in all, I am liking the changes they made. I can't wait to see what else they have coming! I'm excited for this new change and new start.

Not everyone is going to like it and that it okay. Are they going to get backlash? Probably. Why do I think that? Because women can be mean. Men can be as well, but I think women are worse. The people who are on MyGlam's facebook page complain about every little thing and post hateful things over the smallest of issues. If their bag isnt shipped on the same day every month, they unsubscribe. Grow up is all I have to say. You aren't going to get everything you want. Sorry little tangent there. :P

What do you think about MyGlam changing their name to Ipsy?

How NOT to do your makeup and go out in public

Okay, there is a story behind this blog post. I went grocery shopping at Walmart Thurday with my Mom and I saw this woman who looked like she let a baby slap some makeup on to her face. I mean it was pretty grotesque. THEN I had to go back Friday because I forgot something and I saw her AGAIN!

Oh boy, I couldn't contain myself, I just had to try recreate her look. I wound up slapping her two looks together and came up with what I am about to show you.

I just want to warn you. It is kind of scary and horrid. I felt so bad putting all of this on! I had to use so many different products to try and get it right. I just want to warn you. I am not exaggerating what you are about to see. This woman actually went out in public like this. I don't know why anyone would do that.

I also want to warn you, that I blended it out more than I should have. It was kind of habit. Oy vey. I can't believe I am about to do this! Bahaha

Excuse the eye brows. I didn't have the stuff to cover them up and do them properly, but you get the point. And the lips. Yes, the "lip liner" (actually its eyeliner) was messed up as well, but thats how hers was. There is a mix of 2 different liquid lip sticks on my face. *shudders*

This is not a post to make fun of someone. Obviously its not because they are not pictures. My face is. I feel like.. just ugh. I had to fight to get through the lips I almost gave up twice.

Josh, you better know how much I love you for doing this! :P

So, what do you think? Should I wear this out? kidding!

Spotlight Sunday - Sugarpill

Hello Dolls!

This week is going to be something different. Instead of showcasing a blogger, I am going to talk about a Company. This is so fitting to what this Spotlight about because of how they treat their customers and just how they act in general.

The company I am talking about is Sugarpill . Why Sugarpill? Well, I have ALWAYS admired their eye shadows and pigments, but never bought them. I used to be afraid of color to a point, thinking it would look terrible on me. I have used bright colors before, but I went into about a year and a half long neutral binge. So, my "brights" collection dwindled and I now own more neutrals that I will ever need.
.. Woah went off on a small ish.
When Sugarpill came to Beautylish, I was so excited. I FINALLY had my chance to try them out! Why did I wait for them to come to beautylish? I'm on a strict Wedding budget at the moment and because 51 people signed up for the launch of the BB (beautylish boutiqes) I earned $168 in credit! Woo! I spent a small amount only getting a couple of pigments and Love+ which totaled $36. I was going to wait for the other boutiques to open to spend the rest.. That didn't happen. Then I spend $46 on a friend. Then I spent the last $78 on myself and another friend. I had just spent $168 in Sugarpill before I knew it!

I just want to say ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT! I am seriously hooked. All of my products have their own drawer which I have dubbed "My Sugarpill Drawer" lol. That is all that is in it. :P

Anyways, story aside the reason I am doing this Company Spotlight is because of their amazing customer service. I've not experience CS like this from any other company except for BeautyArmy.
What happened is there was something wrong with my Love+ shadow! D: I was so bummed, I've been on the search for a red eye shadow for so long. (Hah mom, proved you wrong! They do make red shadows! :P) I knew Sugarpill had a red shadow, but I had not had the funds to get it, so I jumped on the chance thanks to beautylish. (seriously, I am so grateful!) anyways, so I sent out tweets asking if Love+ was always hard to swatch. Literally, the pigment came off on my finger but wouldnt transfer. Since it was my first time owning Sugarpill products, I wasn't sure.

I didn't get any response from anyone on the matter, so I shot Sugarpill an email... Ironically after I sent the email I got a tweet from the Sugarpill twitter. I am not sure who runs their twitter, but that is the sweetest person I have ever encountered! Seriously, they were so nice and professional. They offered to sent me a replacement pan because there was something wrong with mine. It was probably defective or damaged. So I emailed them and Trista responded to me. Seriously, this girl needs a raise! She was so sweet and omg, it was just more than I expected! We exhanged a few emails back and forth and, seriously best customer service EVER! You can really tell that they actually care about their customers and don't just consider their customers "money" or anything like that.

That is something I really am loving about Sugarpill. I have never experienced anything like what I did from Sugarpill. The sweetest company ever.
I got my replacement pan on 9.15.12 and it came with 2 of the cutest stickers. I seriously LOVE cats. I had 21 at one time. (I swore I was going to be a crazy cat lady.) I only have 1 now, but seriously. It is taking everything I have to just not stick the stickers on something. :P
I can't wait for their new collection to come out! I am going to drool over it because my damn budget is not allowing me to buy any makeup! Damnit! *envy*
Also, how freaking cute is Shrinkle?! I love that she is just herself, rainbow hair and all. SO FREAKING CUTE YOU ARE! bah. #girlcrush

FOTD 9.12.12

I don't know what to "call this look" which is why it doesn't have a name. Lol. I'm not skilled in the naming department! Baha

So today I decided to do a FOTD (face of the day) or.. well more like an eye of the day considering I rarely put a full face of makeup on unless I "have" too.

Today is not a special day by any means, its actually raining. I started doing my makeup before I realized it was going to rain, so the fun in actually brightening my day with a little bit of color! :D

I decided to play around with some Sugarpill loose shadows today. I picked two out of the bunch. Lumi and Birthday Girl. (reviews soon)

[caption id="attachment_1448" align="aligncenter" width="642"] I put them in a quad picture. Not sure why, its easier to me :) Also a story as to why I look "oh so happy"[/caption]

Sugarpill actually had given me the want to actually start using colors. If you have noticed for the past year and a half, all I have worn is Neutral shadows thanks to my Naked palette. Hah. I'm so glad to be back to using colors! <3

I used

Lumi  all over my lid

Birthday Girl is in the outer corner and slightly into my crease.

For my eyeliner I used Urban Decays 24/7 Liquid Liner in Perversion (story about that at the end)

and my Mascara is Revlon ColorStay Overtime Mascara in black.

I really like the way this look came out! I realllllllllllllly bloody love it actually! <3I hope you do as well!

Now onto the story. Its "fun"

When I was applying the liquid liner, the tube decided to fall over resulting in this : V

This is all over my legs, my jacket and probably my shorts honestly. Do you know how hard this stuff is to get off?! I need to go buy more makeup remover. Seriously though. This is an entire bottle (new) liquid liner ALL OVER my legs and clothes. I have used it a couple times before today and its fallen over, but the stopper bloody came out resulting in it spilling! Ugh :(

I have contacted Urban Decay about it via email and twitter. So far no response, I'm not hoping for one today, but I am hoping for one soon it would be nice! I will update you as soon as something happens.

I am really pleased with how this look turned out! :D

Sick Days

Hello Hello!
So, I had no intention of writing a blog post today. To be honest, I just don't feel up to it at all. Yesterday Chris and I came down with something. Well, let me correct that. We were feeling yucky yesterday but it hit us today and it hit pretty bloody hard. -_-

I slept on the couch last night because when I am sick, I flop around like crazy. Not only that, I have a runny nose like no other. Its kind of annoying. Anyways. Enough about that.

I figured I would just do a personal type blog post, so y'all could get to know me a little more and well.. so it wasnt like a computer was writing them. Hahhaha

Random facts about me :
1. I am absolutely obsessed with ANYTHING pumpkin scented, flavored, anything really! I just love Pumpkin <3

2. I love Fall. Even though living in Florida I don't get the pleasure of seeing the leaves change, but down here the air just changes. Its the most amazing feeling to me EVER. I am always happy when fall is around.

3. I've know Chris (my fiance) since I was 13. We were friends for 10 years before we started dating. He is also 9 years older then me.

4. Truth be told. I LOVE blogging. I actually like it a lot more than YouTube.

5. I have seen EVERY episode of Futurama and South Park MULTIPLE times and know every episode by heart.

6. I am literally allergic to the environment. If it has to do with being outside, you better believe I am allergic to it! I'm even allergic to my cat.

7. I love shopping sales and clearance. The good majority of my "high end" products were all gotten on sale or clearance except for two. (UD Naked palette & DeSlick Spray) Even a lot of my "drugstore" stuff was on sale. :P

8. I LOVE baking and cooking. I am the one who primarily does it in the house between Chris and I.

That is really all I can come up with at the moment. I have a serious migraine and my entire body hurts. D:
I don't even like playing around with makeup, let alone touching it when I am sick. I just stay away from it period, that way I don't contaminate it with my sick germs. I've had a couple of glasses of Emergen-C in hopes that it will help, but so far not so good. My throat is killing me bleh.

But, I am done on my little blog post for now. I think I am going to take a nap. Im starting to feel very yuck!
I hope you all are having a fantastic Saturday!!

Favorites Friday!

Hello lovelies! Today is the day! Its Friday! Woo! I myself don't look forward to the weekends haha, but I do look forward to doing my Favorites Friday! :P

This week not much changed to be honest. My week was pretty boring and went by pretttty quick.

The first thing I have been loving however is George Michael ! His voice is absolutely amazing! Do not deny it! I have been listening to his music over and over. A few of my favorite songs are :

Father Figure

Faith

Careless Whisper ( Who DOESN'T love this song?! Seether's cover is also equally amazing!)

I Want Your Sex

I couldn't post the videos directly here. :(

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="350"] How bloody gorgeous is this man?![/caption]

My next favorite has definitely been the Indie Lee Coconut / Citrus Body Scrub

Seriously, this stuff is absolutely AMAZING! I got this from my BeautyArmy kit last month and instantly fell in love! First off, the scent, holy cow! Smells JUST LIKE those lemonhead candies with a hint of coconut. Absolutely divine!

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="368"] Indie Lee Coconut Citrus The Body Scrub - Picture links to her website where you can purchase![/caption]

ps. I do not own this picture. This picture is from Indielee.com . If you click the picture, it takes you right to her website. :)

My next favorite is my Kiehl's Abyssine Cream + I got it from my Birchbox a bloody while ago, when I was actually getting birchbox. I was skeptical about using it since it is not oil-free, but it works wonderfully with my skin! I am going to be sad when its gone!

My last favorite for this month is my Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume mascara. Oh my goodness! This is my second tube of it and I plan on repurchasing it when this tube drys up. This mascara is absolutely amazing! I heard it was like the Benefit They're Real! but personally, I have not tried that so I can't compare, but I absolutely love this mascara! <3 I'm hoping to get a review up soon!

So, that is all of my favorites this week, not many. :) Nothing has really changed for me to be honest. D:

What were your favorites for this month?!

The Indie Lee and George Michael pictures are not mine. The Indie Lee picture links back to her website and the picture belongs to her. The George Michael photo I got from google. The songs are from YouTube and I do not own those either.  :)

NOTD : Sparkly Watermelon

Hello loves!

This is turning into an impromptu Nail of the Day! I did my nails today after neglecting them for about 3 weeks. I know, shame on me ! :P

I decided to do them all in one color this time instead of doing a separate accent nail like I normally do.

I used ORLY - Passionfruit

Then I decided what the hell not?! Lets add some SPARKLE!

So I used Essie - Stroke of Brilliance which is a beautiful denim blue color.

Now, when I put Stroke of Brilliance over Passionfruit, it COMPLETELY changed the color! It went from being a hot pink to a GORGEOUS watermelon pink! *hence the name*

But really I am loving this combo!

Do you like? I really like the way the glitter top coat changes the overall color of the Orly color! :) I didn't use a top coat other than the Essie one :)

Retail Therapy- Sugarpill Style!

Hello lovelies!

Yup, I did it again! I was in some desperate need of some retail therapy today. I rarely EVER shop to make myself feel better honestly. MOST of the time I am happy just looking, but I very rarely ever shop. Today however, I shopped. Granted I used the rest of my Beautylish credit from the boutique, but still.. I shopped.

Don't judge either. I didn't just buy things for myself. To be completely honest I've spent more of the money on others than myself. Its kind of 50/50 except I spent $88 on two people and only $80 on myself. Which isnt bad, considering that it wasn't at one go. :P It was three separate orders.

Now you may be asking why I needed retail therapy? I'm not sure, I was just feeling really down and agitated today. I had been waiting around all day for the BillyB makeup brushes boutique to open up on Beautylish, I was really excited to get some new makeup brushes. Then, I saw them. Not that they aren't bad or anything, but for me personally, I can't use them.  His brushes are a mixture of natural and synthetic brushes, most of them being natural. I have a huge personal issue with non-synthetic fiber brushes. I am allergic to quite a lot of stuff so the good majority of natural haired brushes irritate my face to no end. And for the cheapest brush being $15 I couldn't see myself buying something just for the brand name that I wouldn't be able to use. Make sense? So, I went to Sugarpill.

The first 3 shadows I purchased when the boutique first opened, I have gotten to play with, not as much as I would have liked too, but none the less, I have tried them. I personally must say, I love them! So, I went and got more. This ordered totaled $78, which was the last of my Beautylish credits, but not everything I purchased was for me. :)

I bought my best friend Lauren the Heart Breaker palette and a pair of lashes. She picked each of them out, but didn't know I was going to buy them. Well SUR-BLOODY-PRISE! :P This is the second time I have purchased the Heart Breaker palette and neither of them were for me. Haha, hey at least this time I will get to keep the limited edition shadow  @#$%! (that's literally the name)! I have Love+ so I was not in the market for another red, considering I have the loose shadow in Asylum, but you never know what I might do with it!

<_< >_>

Anyways so the other shadows that I bought for myself were Goldilux, Tiara and Lumi. I really have to say that I am in love with their eye shadows. First off in the pressed shadow AND in the loose shadow you get 4grams. That is a LOT of product! I didn't realize the jars of the loose shadow were so big honestly! (thats what she said) I was so excited but also was like wtf am I going to do with all of this shadow?! Have no fear! It will get used.. eventually. LOL.

All in all, I am really please with this purchase and I hope Stephanie (cookiefarrer) and Lauren enjoy their palettes and other stuff! As for myself, I KNOW I will be loving the shadows that I got!

All pictures are from the Beautylish Sugarpill Boutique. I do not own these pictures. All credit goes to Beautylish and their team for these amazing pictures. I would have taken my own pictures, but I do not have my order just yet, considering I just placed it a few hours ago.

The "Beautylish Credit" that I received and have talked about is from referring people to sign up for the boutique over the past few months. They did not pay me, they are not sponsoring me. I am not affiliated with Beautylish or Sugarpill. All opinions are 100% my own.

L'Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense - Review

I had heard so many good things about this eye liner from so many people that I couldn't stand it anymore and I rushed out to purchase this. Since it came with a very good recommendation I have very high hopes for it.

Lets talk about the less interesting part first. (lol) You can purchase this anywhere that L'Oreal is sold. It retails for between $7.99 to $10 depending on where you purchase it. I bought mine for $8.99. You get 0.05 FL. Oz or 1.5 mL of product.

This liner has a nice felt tip, you can make your line as thick or as thin as you would like it, which is one of the things that I really like about this liquid liner. The packaging itself is very sleek, its purse black with rose gold lettering, which I think is very very nice. I like that the handle is flat on the sides so that you can get a good grip on it and not have to worry about it slipping out of your grasp or what not when applying it.

Unfortunately, this product fell very short for me. It is not very pigmented in my opinion. With the felt brush tip, I find that even though I really like it, it skips. I also find that it does not give a solid line. There are always and I mean ALWAYS lines on the side that are darker then the center, like the product just drags right out of it. It does not give a very nice line at all. I really wanted to love this product, but  I just couldn't, there are better liners out there in my opinion. Maybe I just got a faulty one or something, but I doubt I will be re-purchasing it. I use it occasionally that way I don't feel like I am wasting my money.

The swatches will do the talking for me : VVV

Am I the only one who is having trouble with this liner? D:
